Tommy Girl Is In A Hit Movie!
Everybody! Raise a bottle of poppers to celebrate Tommy Girl's victory at the box office! Okay, homegirl really isn't the star of "Tropic Thunder," but that doesn't matter! He still has a hit movie! You know he's celebrating by treating himself to a little ride on L. Ron Hubbard's frozen dick. He rides it until he sees stars....and planets....and his alien people.
"Tropic Thunder" kicked "The Dark Knight" off of the top perch where it's been sitting for the past four weeks. Even though TDK fell to the #2 spot with $16.8 million for the weekend, it has become the second highest-grossing movie in the history of forever. With a total gross of $471 million, TDK ranks second behind "Titanic" which has $601 million in its wallet. Don't let go, Jack! Batman is coming for you.
Here's how the weekend box office looked:
1. Tropic Thunder - $26 million
2. The Dark Knight - $16. 8 million
3. Star Wars: The Clone Wars - $15.5 million
4. Mirrors - $11.1 million
5. Pineapple Express - $10 million
Unfortunately, I was too busy hacking up sperm balls this weekend, so I didn't get out to see any of this shit. Everyone keeps telling me that Tommy Girl brings the laughs in Tropic Thunder. Even if I tried, I could never laugh WITH Tommy Girl. It's just not possible. The minute I laugh with him is the moment the aliens have won!

This movie is hilarious! Robert Downey, Jr. is the SHIT and he's the main comedic force in Tropic Thunder. I'm ashamed to admit it, but Tommy Girl really knocked it out of the park in his cameo. Hey, I'll give the man props when he deserves it. He's still batshit crazy though. Funniest movie I've seen in a long time, although I'm hoping that Hamlet 2 is just as good if not better.

Tommy Girl brings the laughs? He wasn't even remotely funny when he was playing Austin Powers in the beginning of the second one or whichever one it was. I guess though if he's dancing in a fat suit that would be funny, but only because it's Tom Cruise, in a fat suit, dancing. Xenu would NOT approve.

In an interview, Ben Stiller said that TC's character was entirely improved by Tom himself. He requested to look ugly, requested the big hands and free styled the dance and picked the music himself. He is truly insane. lol But I have to admit, it was funny. Even Stiller said he couldn't believe he went thru with it.

I feel like I saw the trailer at least a dozen times, and don't ever recall Tom Cruise being mentioned.
So if it means TommyBitch has to hide his presence in a movie for people to see it, it's good news to me.
It was a pretty funny movie, basically lampooning the ridiculousness of the movie industry.
With all that he's been through lately, that was a smart move for Tommy Girl. Getting ugly for the role was also a smart move. Damn him! He's going down swinging. Must remember he's still a closeted, controlling, alien worshipping loon...

UKer, he may be a great actor, but his talent is becoming overshadowed by his personal life and craziness, which is tainting some people's view of him. I don't like Jack Black all that much but there is small place in my heart for "School of Rock". I can't help but love that movie. But I think I like it more cause of the kids than him.

I think the groups jumped all over it to just raise awareness and get some free publicity. Stiller has done Something about Mary and the Farrley bros did the Special Olmypics spoof and nothing was ever said about those two. Although the Farrley bros. worked with the S.O. to get approval. I thought the result was uneven, like should I laugh here, or are they trying to say I'm a prick if I laugh here? Good thing the movie wasn't that funny and I didn't have to ponder that question too much.

I'm on my may to XENU hell because Tommy Girl was actually really funny in this movie. I thought the whole thing was great. True it could've been the hits I took in the parking lot prior to seeing this, but either way funny.
