The Jonas Bros were playing at the Apple Store in SoHo the other night when my husband was working (not at the Apple Store but a few doors down) -- he took a couple of pictures of the crowd and it was ridiculous. He said that even downstairs you could hear the shrieking of hundreds of teen girls. I don't understand it... I mean, I was a young teen when Hanson, Backstreet Boys, etc. came out, and I was a fan (hides face in shame) but what compels people to become screaming, pissing-themselves messes over a couple of marginally talented, marginally attractive kids?
Oh, and husband said that several of the gay guys he works with swore up and down that the oldest Jonas is gay (not sure if they personally confirmed this or what, but I'd believe it!)

On one of her shows Dr. Oz said that Oprah has a thyroid problem which makes it hard to maintain a health weight. It's like taking steroid medication, it bloats you up. I don't much care for Oprah but I love me some Dr. Oz.
