Morgan Freeman Is Getting A Divorce...
Morgan Freeman has more shit to deal with. A close friend of Mr. Freeman confirmed to Access Hollywood that he's getting a divorce from his wife of 24 years, Myrna Colley-Lee. The friend said they have been separated since December 2007. They don't have any children together.
Over the weekend, Morgan was involved a one-car accident in Mississippi. His car went off the side of the road and then flipped. Morgan and his female passenger, Demaris Meyer, were airlifted to a hospital in Memphis. Morgan underwent surgery for a broken arm and elbow. Demaris was treated for her injuries and released. Demaris has been described as a "family friend."
"Family friend" is just a polite way of saying "mistress."

I don't know why everyone is pissed at his wife for divorcing him. She OBVIOUSLY has her own reasons to have done what she did. None of us knows what was really going on in their relationship - she must have been pissed to file while he was in the hospital. Maybe they were trying to work things out and the new ho was a little too much for his wife to handle. Just because Morgan Freeman is a great actor and a seemingly likeable man doesn't make him a great or faithful husband.

I find it so sad when such long-lasting relationships go bad. I could see if they had kids and they were the typical 'staying together for the kids', but they didn't have any.
Too much temptation when you are a celebrity, I guess.

I applaud any person at his age who decides to get a divorce and seek happy times when your days are obviously numbered.
I hardly call this being a ho, and if he can get a little more happiness from someone else before he kicks the bucket, then he deserves it.
