Morgan Freeman Is Getting A Divorce...
Morgan Freeman has more shit to deal with. A close friend of Mr. Freeman confirmed to Access Hollywood that he's getting a divorce from his wife of 24 years, Myrna Colley-Lee. The friend said they have been separated since December 2007. They don't have any children together.
Over the weekend, Morgan was involved a one-car accident in Mississippi. His car went off the side of the road and then flipped. Morgan and his female passenger, Demaris Meyer, were airlifted to a hospital in Memphis. Morgan underwent surgery for a broken arm and elbow. Demaris was treated for her injuries and released. Demaris has been described as a "family friend."
"Family friend" is just a polite way of saying "mistress."

Not sure about MS, but in CA, "legally separated" is just the date you move out of the marital home, not intending to return. The date affects things like support and community property. So it's a pretty amorphous concept and can be almost any date you pick.

If they have been seperated since December, it's been 8-9 months, all though he is legally still "married" he can date, I may not think it's right, but I know plenty of people going through a divorce who have BF"s and shit already and the papers have JUST been filed.
I don't think it's right, but technically, they are no longer with their spouse....

From his Bio on Imdb, it appears that Morgan has moved on from a relationship more than once, but the article says that they seperated in Dec. 2007; how does that make him a cheater? It's 8 months later-- they certainly could have hooked up after that.
