Interesting story: I was packing my lunch for work this morning and my mother who was visiting, asked me if I had seen pictures of the Brangelina twins yet. I told her that they looked like any other regular baby, and the moment I said that, a big can of Progresso crushed tomatoes fell from the pantry shelf and fell onto my foot, and now I am hobbling to work today.
I think that we all need to be careful if we disparage the Chosen Ones. I was already punished today for referring to them as normal.
I refuse REFUSE to look at the magazines. If dlisted or someone else posts the pictures, I'll look, but damnit, enough!!!!
And as an African American, I continue to be offended by all these self-righteous decedents of slave owners and beneficiaries of slavery and colonialism can walk into African and steal African children to be their new "accessory". KT, try raw coconut oil for your fur baby! Google it! If you can't afford the raw stuff Nutiva makes a great "go to" brand.
Coconut oil is being touted as a miracle food and a little OVER-HYPED but most of the hype is genuine.
I've been feeding my cats coconut oil and they are doing so much better (skin/coat/healthwise).

and mel tang, i will definately talk to my vet. my mom just told me that my dog is on rimidyl (sorry too sleepy to spell check lol) and doesn't take it often but i'd like my dog on something else now. its hard because shes very stubborn, especially with pills. she'll spit them out! she got really depressed when my cat passed away last december.. i just got his paw print tattooed on my wrist and i sware the dog knew what it was haha im just so worried since shes getting older. its sad to know your pets (mine are like my babies) don't have much time left :( i don't even want to think about it, it makes me tear up again!

I truly just want people to be aware and question their vet before putting their pets on any kind of med.
My vet still claims Rimadyl is safe and that it was very rare for this to happen to my dog, but I disagree. There are a LOT of horrible stories about people who have unexpectedly lost their pets to this. They are all over the internet if you just google "Rimadyl poisoning.'
I think we have to be cautious and weigh the pros and cons of putting animals on medication. My dog started with leg pain and within a month he was almost completely paralyzed and the last few days of his life, he couldn't get up on his own and had internal bleeding.
I went through a lot of guilt for a while, feeling like I had killed my poor dog. I was only trying to help him, and was never told of the risks by my vet or given any kind of insert with the medicine of possible side effects.
I just want to try to prevent this from happening to someone else.

I have 2 dogs (those are my babies) and one always seems to need to go to the vet, so this is good to know. He's a small dog mixed with a larger breed; from looking at his joints now (he's only 2 1/2) he looks like he'll be arthritic in his old age. I'll keep that med in mind...thanks. Rimadyl is a drug used to treat arthritis in dogs. It also causes liver and kidney damage/failure in many animals, and eventually can kill them.
Retrievers (labs and golden) run an especially high risk of developing these life threatening symptoms while on it. Yet they continue to dispense this poison to animals freely.
It killed my dog a month ago, and I have it in my sig. because I think it is important to warn people about it. I wish I had known the risks; I would not have given it to my dog.

I think that just because they serve an inherently noble cause that it doesn't redeem that for the two scumbags they really are, that the ostentatiousness of their efforts are merely strategies to elude the media and extremely gullible people of the fact that these two have actually hurt people in their personal lives.
First- I'm not sure if it's true, but before Angelina Jolie was adopting ridiculous amounts of children, I heard that Billy Bob Thornton left Laura Dern for Jolie, and he literally threw Laura Dern out of the house which the two were sharing? Like I said, not sure, but if the speculation has any truth to it, I'm sure Jolie would have and has done it again.
Second- A little too soon after Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston broke up, they became an official couple. For someone NOT fucking around on his wife, he moved on quickly.
Third- Why is there so much bitterness between Brad and most of his exes? Jennifer Aniston and Gwyneth Paltrow both hate his ass. You have to wonder what might have happened to make them separate on such harsh terms, and why the fuck is he so blase about it all?
If you can't add two and two together, you're either braindead or just outright fucking ignorant.
And I hate, hate, HATE Brangeloonies. What a group of shallow fucks. In one breath we're supposed to sympathize for Angelina Jolie: the daddy issues, the drug addiction, the paparazzi, the eating disorder, the past with self-mulitation, the low self-esteem.
