The Drama Continues....
Yesterday during day one of Christie Brinkley's divorce trial against Peter Cook, we learned that he spends $3,000 a month on porn, has taken nudey pics of himself for swingers website and also gave his teenage mistress $300,000 to shut the fuck up. Day two was a little less dramatic, but Christie did manage to cry on the stand.
Christie broke down when she told the court the day she found out her husband was doing sexy sexy times with an 18-year-old girl. The day she found out, Christie was giving a speech at some high school graduation when a mystery dude tapped her on the shoulder. The man told her, "That husband of yours just won't knock it off. He's having an affair with my teenage daughter and that bastard won't knock it off and I have to come to you." Peter and her son Jack were standing right next to her. Oh snap! Why wasn't there a reality crew filming this shit?!
Peter at first denied it, but later admitted it to her. He became so desperate to win Christie back that he threatened to off himself by driving in a tree. Oh please. Peter has probably done that before. You know he's totally into getting off in car crashes.
During recess, Peter had this to say about Christie crying on the stand, "Shrek was more believable than that." Huh? Shrek isn't a true story?

If I were Christie, I'd nail down the exact milisec her husband started intimacy with the young woman. Was she actually 18 at the time? or younger? There's emphasis regarding her "being 18".
Is there any child porn in the $3,000/month pornography bill? The usual hetero stuff must get redundant.
If he's the responsible, or "primary caregiver", for the children, who's watching the kids while he's viewing all the pornography and doing the GF?! A nanny?
The whole thing is lurid, and seedy. ALL of his computer activities, are going to be public knowledge.

My parents used to rent a house in LI/Hamptons where she lived for years/ my mom even got involved in some campaign that CB ran a few years back, something about clean waters, anti-toxic waste thing... anywho, never met her but from what I heard she is very well liked among the locals, great tipper, good mom, always friendly. Also, I have a recollection of some Town & Country cover she did with that Cook guy and the little kids and I remember sitting at a doctor's office flipping through it and thinking that they were such a beautiful family....

I agree with you. That's why I think that men who know they have a potential cheater inside of them should avoid committed relationships altogether. I have no respect or sympathy for Christie. I saw her on the news today and she seemed to be fake, fake, fake. Besides that, she's been married to 4 times and each time following a split she's bad mouth said husband. Maybe she should ask herself why she gets involved with questionable men. I also think it's disgusting for her air this out in public and in front of her kids. Somehow I doubt she is a saint in any of this.
Okay, I just have to say that my eyes goggled out in disbelief at one of the poster's comments about CB not having "class and grace," as well as being "disloyal." What the fuckity fuck! What about HIS class, HIS grace, and HIS loyalty? He's the one who took a vow on his wedding day to be loyal and, if you can call her testifying against him "disloyal" with a straight face, keep in mind that they are no longer together because of his dumb ass and she has no obligation to be loyal to him.
I know a few people's mouths must be flapping about how all this is to be expected from a man, but that is selling men short. There are men who do like to settle down in committed relationships; for those who don't, they are more than welcome to their inevitable lonely deaths. Yes...YES... marriage is not for everyone, I know. Mr. Schnook should have took the initiative, knowing he was a weak-minded perv, and stayed single for the good of all womankind, except those unfortunates who would actually sleep with him.
If we keep excusing this type of behavior, people who geniunely want to have good relationships based on mutual respect will constantly be cheated out of that fulfillment. People who want to consistantly make sexy times with themselves or non-discriminating whores are welcome to that. Funny thing is, those types can't accept that there are people who do want to be in relationships. It kills them. I know this because they are the same people who ridicule marriages and tell everyone constantly that partnership is a personality flaw. They cannot just simply stay single and let others live their paired up lives.
And to trot out the same tired old burka-wearing, you're-a-prude because you condemn someone for saving porn on their kiddies' My Little Pony desktop - grow up. Those of us who are able to look past the fun aspects of not giving a fuck are also able to grasp significant social trends and project their effects onto future consequences for society. We happen to be socially conscious visionaries who are just as enthusiastic about sex as any other sexy beasts...and probably better at it, too. I'm just saying!
