When I was a runway model in Paris the other girls were so jellus of me because my hip bones stuck out further than anyone elses. They used to switch my nonfat milk with full fat milk when my scrawny back was turned! Once, in Milan, they threw me on the ground and force fed me gelato!
Those were the days.

I COMPLETELY agree. Modeling isn't just about being pretty, but you have to be a certain size, and if that's a problem then stop modeling.

She is VERY distracting on the runway being this big. She looks like your everyday pretty girl, but not like a model. I'm hardly looking at the swimsuit.

Karolina Kurkova is a tad better than just average, folks. She has a stunning body, curvy but lean, built like a woman should be built. I would love to have a body like that and I exercise everyday and don't come close to that.

I was hoping some of the photos on that site showed the audiences "shocked" faces. It doesn't look like fat to me, but loose skin, which might be just as gross. It just looks odd to me. Maybe she just needs to take a multivitamin or something.

for the runway, yes she is fat. but also keep in mind ramp models are ridiculously, absurdly thin. if you think they look tiny from watching shows on tv or seeing spreads in magazines go to a live show - it's really hard to believe anyone can be that thin and still live. in person she's most likely still incredibly thin - the genes that make a model only go to less than 5% of the world's population after all. but fashion and real life never had anything even remotely resembling a relationship. the might as well occupy different universes.

if you want to be a model, at the age of 25 you are too old and too short if your height is under five foot eight inches.

please do not use kate moss are your reference for the height requirement.

Completely agree. 5'8" is considered a short model. Kate Moss was the exception back then (early 90's) to the minamun height of 5'10".
