Checking Up With Wino
Now it's time for our daily check in with the Wino to see how she's holding up in the hospital. I've got good news and bad news. The bad news is that doctors say she has an irregular heartbeat. The good news is that her heart still beats! Wild, I know. Next, you're going to tell me that Keith Richards still has a pulse.
The Sun reports that Wino's family plans to keep her in the hospital as long as they can in hopes that she'll finally beat drugs. A source said that this might be their one chance to sort her out for good. If Wino tries to flee the hospital, the family plans to go to court to try and keep her in.
Wino's daddy, Mitch, said, "Amy is doing fine. She is staying in as long as possible."
Methinks they should plant an ice pop vendor outside her door 24 hours a day. They should also figure out a way to fill her hospital room with artificial crack smoke. You know, so she feels at home!
I think I speak for most of the people by saying...I hope she kicks the coke and gets help and stays sober.

If anyone reads Crazy Days and Nights, the rumor is that Wino might be HIV positive or have the full-blown AIDS. So her face may be showing the results of disease along with excess drug use.
What's with her face? Looks like it's covered in cocaine, either that or anorexic fuzz. She totally needs help, that irregular heartbeat is from drug use no doubt. Not only that she needs to detox and go to rehab and stop fighting it. She'll look so much better and sell more albums and make more money in the long run. I totally want to see her get better and I do think she has talent. It's just going to be so hard for her, since she would literally have to separate herself from all of her current friends...etc...they'll just push more drugs on her and she needs to steer clear. Thats super hard!!

I can't believe she has lived this long.
Especially because she has an irregular heartbeat and does so many drugs.
A lot of times the hearbeat irregularity is hereditary; it may not even have been caused by the drugs. But I'm sure they are not helping.

Amen M.E.! I commented in a Wino thread the other day about my crackhead sister and what you say is SOOOO true. My family has pretty much done everything we can do at this point, including sending her to rehab twice but until the day comes when SHE wants to be straight, it will never, ever happen. Now it's a point of waiting for the inevitable phone call informing us she's either A)missing (which has happened many times or B)dead. I wouldn't wish this on any family and yeah Wino's Dad sounds like a real dick to me, just keep yer trap shut and see to your daughter while you can.
