When the Old Bitches on the Retirement Block announced their return, I nearly blew a wad of Pop Rocks. When they finally performed on "Today" or whatever, they were shaky, but I figured after a few pops of Viagra and a couple of rubs of Ben-Gay, they would get it together. Well, these bitches haven't. Last night, they performed at the MuchMusic Video Awards in Toronto and that shit is like a depressing movie. Every wobbly note they sang made me feel more and more empty inside.
They really should rename the tour, "The Mid-Life Crisis Tour of 2008," because that's what this shit looks like.
Don't get me wrong, I'm still going to waste money to see their mess in concert. I have to remember to bring a hanky and a teddy bear for hugging. This shit is going to be all sorts of sad.

Haha @ Margeddon- that's what they needed a harmonizer.. it sounded flat. Sad, you can hear them almost out of breath singing. And what's with the terrible 'mash- up' of songs. I hate mash ups. They needed to pick one of their hits and just sing it (unless they did that b/c they forgot the lyrics)

They weren't bad!! I was expecting much worse ... The beginning was shaky, but they picked it up.
And yes! I will be spending my hard earned cash to see them in concert as well. Just like I did almost 20 years ago. Only this time, I'll be drunk... and my thoughts are much dirtier. I'm like a dirty old man! This whole reunion thing is making me go thru a second puberty. I really don't get it...
Ok - I was pulling for them I mean I use to have a NKOTB pillowcase for gods sake - but their vocals were brutal!! If you are going to do a "come-back" tour make sure you don't suck.
p.s. I'm pullng for a Boys II Men comeback! loved them!

In their defence, there were defintely sound issues with the entire awards show. None of the performers sounded decent. The entire show was absolute shite. Yeah, they were iffy, but Much Music is partly to blame.
Kardinal Offishall and Akon performed - did not sound good.
Sean Kingston w/ some small chick - sounded terrible.
Rihanna - cats in heat would be so proud, but it was painful to my ears.
NKOTB - could have been better, but there was no way that was going to happen at this low budget event. And it rained all day and during their performance.
