KK As Eliza Doolittle?!
What's the number to 911?! This is a crime against humanity. Keira Knightley's no-talent, scrawny ass is in talks to play Eliza Doolittle in a new film version of the musical "My Fair Lady." They should change the title to "My Fart Lady" and her character name to Eliza DooDoolittle.
Columbia and CBS Films will create a slightly updated remake of the movie, but will keep the musical's setting and original songs. Cameron Mackintosh is one of the film's producers.
Producers would not comment on the casting of KK, but said they were in talks with a major International star. Hopefully, they are talking about Brit Brit Spears. She's already proven that she has the voice of an angel and already has the British accent down. Blimey. Anybody but KK. Shit, Ed McMahon needs some money! He can play Eliza Doolittle.
We do not need this movie. This is the last thing we need! What we do need is some new skanks in Hollyweird that can come up with original ideas and stop butchering our beloved classics.

Actually, Audrey Hepburn was cast in the original film over Julie Andrews, who had played Eliza on Broadway. They wouldn't let Audrey sing, though, and dubbed her with Marni Nixon. Someone from Broadway should hijack this bitch's Eliza plane .

KK and Natalie Portman are the two most overrated actresses in a world of overrated actresses. Wooden. Yet they seem to offer them every single role. I'll give them pretty, though. I think James McAvoy is kind of fug. He's not even tall. He seems like an ass in interviews. I haven't seen any of his movies, though.

James McAvoy was an acquired taste.
The first thing I saw him in was Narnia, and didn't know who he was, but thought he was extremely creepy looking and disturbing without a shirt on. Something about that costume just keep bugging me.
Then I saw him in something else, can't remember what, thought he was all right looking, and looked up to see who he was ..oh, all right, that thing from Narnia lol.
He was pretty damn hot in Atonement. Haven't seen the Last King of Scotland or Penelope.

Children of Dune, Rory O'Shea, State of Play, Macbeth (as Macbeth), Penelope, Bright Young Things,
Last King of Scotland, Atonement, Wanted and oh, yeah, that horrible Jane Austen thing in which he was the best thing and Anne Hathaway sucked as usual.
He's a very accomplished actor -- different than Butler (whom I also love) but no less gifted.

No, Mikey - I like this idea. I am a Musical Loving Girly Man [tm Joss Whedon], and I think this old warhorse would benefit from some shaking-up. Keira will be fine (I really liked her in "Pride and Prejudice") and if they get her boytoy Rupert Friend to play Freddie, and someone interesting like Daniel Day-Lewis or Ralph Fiennes to play Henry Higgins (it's a fairly non-singing role) (but please NOT Daniel Craig), I think it could be good. The original Audrey Hepburn/Rex Harrison version was polished beyond belief, and it would be fun to see a slightly grittier version.
Oh, Hugh Laurie as Henry Higgins! He can play a jerk and he CAN sing. Bob Hoskins as Eliza's dad! Oh, this could be good...

Doakes was a great character. Although one was rooting for Dexter and Doakes was a serious threat to him, you still couldn´t help liking him. I actually would have been ok with the show ending on Dexter going to jail and Doakes surviving... but I´m also happy to get to watch another season :) Best tv show in years.
