I am starting to believe nick really wouldn't mind getting to know his fellow inmates. maybe he saw let's go to prison and thought this would be the perfect opportunity to meet a sensitive guy who makes merlot in the toilet. perhaps he thought it was a documentary?
because I cannot think of any other reason he would be so hell bent on getting out of the cell he had. anyone else in that jail would have been delighted to have it. even guys who no one would dare bother would like having their own private toilet etc. unlike some of them nick left the cell pretty often.
I get that he is a whiny baby but begging and pleading to be sent to gen pop just seems so weird.

Nick should drop to his knees and thank God every day he's who he is, and where he is, after what he's done, instead of whining and crying like he's doing. FUCK him and his rights. John had a right to walk and talk, and have a prefrontal lobe. Nick took those rights from John. The only thing that should be making this fucktard cry is the guilt over killing his friend. I'm not sure I could live with knowing I had done that to another person. Nick obviously feels no remorse. Personally, I hope Nick leaves prison feeling like he's been fucked by a train.

PSL - the womens jail was a 2 story building, the rooms were like dorms, a bunk, a closet and a desk. Tiny. There were 4 wings, in the center of each wing was the "living area" a couch, chairs, a table and a TV (we could only watch tv from 7-8pm.)
Down stairs was the kitchen, eating area, smoke vending machine and a rec room. Outside was a fenced in patio area with a garden (veggies) that we had to work, daily.
It sucked.
Wake up at 5am - do "chores" till 8am. 8am breakfast. 10-12 am finish chores. 12 lunch, 1-3 "free time" 3-5 laundry/wash up, etc. 5pm dinner 7-8 tv "free time" 8:30pm lights out.

Luckily I plead out and served 90 days in the womens jail her in town. But still, in that place were women, awaiting trial for, murder, assult, etc.
It's fucking scary!

Nick is a juvenile, he was tried as an adult and put into an adult facility, then authorities decide they will treat him as a juvenile within the facility by putting him in solitary confinement to remove him from the adult population. Then they decide they will treat him at the same time as an adult by releasing his recorded calls. Nick well deserves to to punished, but if I were the Bolleas I would be pissed, and I think they have an excellent reason to sue the Pinellas County Police Dept for extreme unfair treatment.
