PSL- you are right. Although sometimes the guys in the club are so lonely, like our troops, that I don't like to think of them as suckers. I live in a Navy town and I deal with a lot of military and it is very sad to hear their stories and see what the war has done to them. Usually, they lived somewhere in Middle America, then went to Iraq, and now live here, far away from their family and friends. Like I said, most of the guys just want someone to talk to. I also work in a town with very strict rules when it comes to strip clubs. We have a 6ft rule, and are fully clothed while giving the dance. There is no touching allowed and we have lots of bouncers who enforce the rules. Girls are terminated for breaking those rules, doing drugs and/or drinking, you know, things of that nature.

Sordid, sad and pathetic is a little over the top. Strip clubs are very strict with their rules. Although a lot of people do confuse strippers with prostitutes, it is a whole different animal. We became dancers because we had no desire to sell our bodies. I did it because I love being on stage, I love the party atmosphere, I love being social and meeting all kinds of people from all over the world. I have to disagree with you there. A vast majority do it because mommy and daddy were not able to pay for an education and the job allows a girl to work once or twice a week for around five hours at a time.
