Ahem...actually, many critics felt the movie was not very good. They felt that AJ's portrayal of Marianne Pearl was a bit overacted, and took away from Daniel Pearl's character, and really was a big glamour project for AJ.

But she's OK in action movies because all she has to do is pose and give her "dangerous look", you know what I'm talking about. Head down, eyes up, wry smile.
When the role calls for something deeper, she can't deliver. It's not in her. She can't follow through on anything, her charities, bringing feeling to the forefront, her religions, her marriages. She's very shallow. Remember this is the woman who thought wearing a vial of blood around her neck was something really interesting and meaningful...for about a day.

Also A Mighty Heart has a 77% which is a Fresh rating, on Rotten Tomatoes. com, meaning MORE CRITICS LIKED A MIGHTY HEART. Also Angelina explains in an MSN interview why she had to discontinue the Maddox project, which I can post for you, but so far her other charity ventures are seen through.

I remember after she got Z all she could talk about was wanting to raise them with brad in a "stable" invironment and wanting them to go to school and not be taught by tutors..etc. Those kids are living ANYTHING but stable, they are traipsed from country to country and in and out of schools in France and New Orleans and even L.A. for a while. And to second Stock's points, AJ had started a foundation for Maddox to clean up Cambodia's land mines. However, by the time Zahara was adopted, she had stopped contributing to the foundation, and had stopped trying to get sponsors for it either. This was QUOTED by the President of the foundation. Look it up if you don't believe me.

Nah me either. I feel kinda neutral about her. She doesn't incite the same venom in me as say, Parasite. She doesn't really incite much of anything in me. I couldn't care less if I ever saw her again, but I do think she's beautiful.

Joe - A Mighty Heart was very good and touching. A faithful retelling of Mariane's book. Only A holes called it bad names. It was a very good movie and Angelina gave a strong performance.

Niki ~ the reason DListers hate Angelina can be summarized as follows:

1. She's a hypocrite. Depending on her mood and whatever "cause she's crusading" her answers will change to meet her personal agenda.

2. Her "holier than thou-Save the World" attitude. She seems to have forgotten what she was in the past and instead wants to adopt this "Susie Homemaker" image which is a sham.

3. Endless promises to charities and other organizations that seem to disappear when her interest in them wanes off. For example, she and Brad Spitt jumped on the Hurrican Katrina bandwagon going so far to pretend to move to New Orleans. Now that its not fashionable to support that cause, she's moved on.

4. She suxs as an actress and is clearly OVERRATED.

5. She has no remorse nor does she take any responsiblity for her past actions and the impact it had on others. While I hate Jennifer Anniston with a passion, the fact she kept yapping she would "never date a married man" while all the while was boinking Brad Spitt was 2-faced of her...and goes back to her being a hypocrite.

She's a pretentious, egocentric, media whore who loves the spotlight.

Does this woman ever stop whoring herself out to the public? SO when she's not filming, now she's doing photo shoots and interviews for magazines. WHEN is she really really going to stop working and concentrate soley on her kids? Right... My parents encouraged my sister and I to read when we were really young. In fact, my parents were doing the whole listening-to-classical-music-when pregnant way before anyone else. They also encouraged us to express ourselves through imagination, even if it meant drawing on the walls without punishment. Why does everyone here hate her so much? I'm truly curious because everyone makes fun of justjared for all the gushing, but here it's the same only the posts are less loving shall we say. As to the photo I think she looks great except for the hair. Too big, too done. She should wear red lipstick more often. Also her answers seem genuine enough. She actually sounds happy and excited.
