50 Cent's House Burns Down
One of 50 Cent's homes in Dix Hills, New York went up in flames early this morning and was completely destroyed. It's not right, but now I've got "Burning Down the House" in my head and it won't get out. 50's 10-year-old son, Marquise, and his ex-girlfriend, Shaniqua Tompkins were sent to the hospital for smoke inhalation along with 4 other people. They were treated and released.
The Fire Department Chief doesn't think the fire was accident. I bet the chief has a bushy moustache. They all do. He said that arson investigators were called in and there are currently no suspects.
The house has a dramatic history. Last month, 50 tried to throw out Shaniqua and his son from the home. He told her ass to pay him $4,500 in rent or she had to get the fuck out. Shaniqua filed a lawsuit claiming 50 promised to put the $1.4 million house in her name.
TMZ has a video of Shaniqua and 50 screaming at each other on the streets of Manhattan yesterday. I've been to the Baskin Robbins' they are fighting in front of! They should have gone in and shared a cup of Jamoca Almond Fudge.
The fight occurred shortly after the two were being deposed at Shaniqua's lawyer offices. During the depo, one of 50's friends went crazy and started trashing the lawyer's offices. A police report was filed.
50's spokesbitch issued this statement to TMZ: "Informed this morning while filming a new motion picture on location in Louisiana, Curtis Jackson expressed deep concern over this fire at his property. He is extremely thankful that everyone including his son, Marquise, escaped the burning house safely. He is confident that authorities will be conducting a thorough investigation of the incident and is eager to review their findings."
Damn....this shit is going to get interesting. I think it's also time to put the batteries back into my smoke detector.

Wow this is like a soap opera. Everything seems so suspicious. I mean, the morning after they're video taped arguing her/his house burns down? My theories are she did it for the money when the house was finally put in her name (I'm not sure if that even happened) or 50 did it to finally make sure they couldn't live in the house anymore.

Ive been reading dlisted for years and theres something DIFFERENT about the writing now. MK has a very distinct way of writing and joke telling, and so I am sure either its someone else or something, but since 2 weeks or so the posts have changed in style. And since when do people harp on MK? usually everyone celebrates him, its only been the last 2 weeks people have begun asking if its him or not, with valid reasons. I also agree MK is very talented, which is WHY I wouldnt want him to turn into a Perez. Perez's post r very simple in detail actually, anyone can write that blog, this one however is very specific which is why when someone else writes it you can feel the difference.

What I don't understand is, doesn't she receive child support? Can she not find a place live with the money she receives? Why does she NEED to live at 50's house? I have some questions: Is Shaniqua Marquise's baby mama? Don't these people know that it is SO much easier to squeeze a man for money if you've actually married him before having the baby? Is drama THAT gratifying?

1. Shanique is Marquise's mama.
2. I doubt he would have married her - the only way to squeeze money out of him was to get knocked up with his kid.
3. About the drama being gratifying?.. I am unsure but having the child of a millionaire is a meal ticket. I am sure he was drunk, sloppy and horny and didn't care to wear protection... and she took full advantage of that situation.
His friend totally did it. 50 was probably pissed off about the ex not wanting to leave the house and feeling like he shouldn't have to give her a dime, so the friend offered to help him get rid of the problem. If the house burned down, she's forced to leave and he's not obligated to buy her another house.
I think the fact that it's the house his son lives in, is reason enough for him to let her live there. Even if he doesn't want her there, at least his son will have a place to live.
