dbella, obviously I saw BH and I don't need pics. If you've seen it to the end you must have noticed the change in her character, who *is* basically detached, cold and wooden - but conveys some strong emotions behind this composed countenance. Maybe that's why she had a bunchful of noms...

Gillian Anderson is an attractive woman, but she was abyssmal in "Bleak House" on Masterpiece Theatre. Her acting was wooden, and worse, she insisted on making the stupidest pursed lipped face throughout the ENTIRE production. It was just horrendous. I guess she thought that women of that era went about looking as if someone had shoved a tent pole up their arse. Google image "Gillian Anderson Bleak House" and you get nothing but lemon lips photos.

Well, I was shocked when I first saw her outside the XF set, at an award ceremony (in Italy): hair in a bun and a lovely dress, she was gorgeous. I didn't recognise her at first.

Funny that the only "bad" things gossip sites find to write about her are like this one, lol ;-)

I saw her in person years ago while in the David Letterman audience. Was shocked at how skinny she is in real life vs. on the xfiles dressing her to look frumpy.
