If she needs to get pie-eyed, why not do it in the comfort of her home? She knows the paps are out there. I don't get why she needs to go out somewhere, get plastered, and then require help to walk. When she got those fake funbags implanted, her intelligence evaporated. Breastfeeding with plastic bags in your tissues must hurt. Your breasts are big enough under those conditions. They are drawing all of her attention, leaving very little room for thought.

Call me shitty, but if I ever had the will power to go nine months without a drink, plus some more months for the breastfeeding. Endure childbirth, sore nipples, hemorrhoids, morning sickness, and all that crap. I might could use a drink every weekend. Many drinks. Ok, I'd be drunk all weekend. Especially if I was rich enough to have nannies to watch the baby. What? That kid would lucky to see me between Friday and Monday. Nanny is your weekend mommy. When my first one was born, it hardly even occurred to me to go ANYWHERE without my baby. If I went out with my husband for dinner, I was constantly looking at the clock, making sure the baby wouldn't get too hungry, or worrying that she was making my mom tear her hair out from crying. I guess some women are just really caught up in their own wants. Maybe Xtina is realizing her nanny makes a better mom.

I was in my 30's when I had my first baby, and with the exception of the early post-baby days, I feel more attractive than I ever have. I am SO much happier with my body, even though it's not as great as it was in my 20's.

As talented as she is, her sexy image was also a big part of her appeal (unlike Brit Brit who has no talent, and now no sex appeal either). Sometimes having a baby really screws up women who have always relied on their sex appeal, because suddenly they're not feeling so hot & desirable anymore. Also, for a lot of women, caring for a baby is not at all what they thought it would be and they feel really guilty and confused about that. I think as DAE said that she's struggling and she needs to address whatever the problem is, 'cause getting shitfaced is not the answer.

I think one difference between britney and christina and at least christina has her husband to drag her drunken booty home. britney was by herself or with other party girls (who didn't have kids). and britney was bringing folks home with her. so basically christina is getting drunk while she has a baby at home. that is bad. britney was getting drunk (etc.), hooking up and dragging the party home where her babies were waiting. that is worse. hopefully christina will get some help before she goes that route.

if she has a low tolerance she may be getting drunk on less alcohol than normal. when I wrote that I thought this had only happened a few times. but I didn't mean that it was fine for her to do this. I have a low tolerance and I stop at one drink to be safe.

fortunately there are other adults to help. that doesn't mean that it is ok for christina to be drunk but I hope it motivates her to get help so she can be a good mother to her baby.

I don't have children and all the moms I know very well are nondrinkers. so this is an area i'm not sure what most people do other than giving up alcohol.

Is it really so difficult to stay at home with your child?!? I've managed to do it for almost 5 years without running out every week to get shitfaced-just because I can't deal with it. She reminds me of my SIL, who needs 2 or 3 mini vacations alone because she gets frazzled from taking care of her own children.

Xtina should have learned from the flack Britney got and have kept her partying discreet or to a minimum. Weird, both girls werent partiers before their giving birth, and them BAM there drunk crawling out of clubs late night. But the reason people really pick on Britney more then Christina is because Britney was a phenomenom, where as Christina was just a star, people inherently care about Britney for whatever reason because of her person, where as Christina has always been more respected for her talent, but people just arent fascinated by her by no means. Shit look at Nicole Richie, who is not a star, NR's baby cover beat christina in sales, a fucking reality show person beating christina.
