Kiki Is Depressed
Kiki Dunst checked into rehab earlier this year and everybody thought it had something to do with her boozing ways. I mean, the girl likes to drink. Kiki told E!'s Marc Malkin that she went to rehab because she was really, really sad.
She said, “I went there for depression. It was a good six months before I decided to go away. I was struggling, and I had the opportunity to go somewhere and take care of myself. I was fortunate to have the resources to do it. My friends and family thought it was a good idea, too. But I didn't know where to go. My doctor recommended Cirque Lodge.”
Cirque Lodge is mainly a rehab joint for crackheads and boozers.
Everyone I know goes to the bar when they're depressed. And if you're depressed enough, you're always at the bar, which means you're always drunk, which means you'll eventually need rehab. See how that works?
Kiki went on to say, “Depression is pretty serious and should not be gossiped about.” Bossy! She had me actually feeling sowwy for her mushy ass until she made that comment. I was this close to sending her cream-filled gingersnaps. Thanks for snapping me back into reality, Kiki.
She also denied the rumors that she's dating Ryan Gosling. That's not something you should ever deny. Bitch if hot. Even if you aren't dating him. Just lie and say you are.

I barely get out of bed each day and once I finish class or leave work, I go right back to my room and stay locked away from everybody. My depression was so bad last year, I didn't come out of my house at all for two months. So again, Kirsten is full of shit. She's a drunk, plain and simple. That's why all her boyfriends keep dumping her.

Depression has become an industry with everyone and their mother believing they have it. There are many people who really do have it, but then there are plenty of those who are simply having normal reactions to life stressors, but they don't realize it and end up having their "condition" medicalized. Take it for what it's worth.

I will speak on bipolar depression cause i am somewhat of an expert being that I am bipolar. Bipolar disorder is a pandemic. It doesn't get adequate credibility or acknowledgement at all. But anyone suffering knows the real deal. It's not imaginary, my mother and older sister have been diagnosed with the more serious form and institutionalized. I have the milder version, like Britney Spears, andd that gets even less credence. Unfortunately, there is much igorance surrounding mental illness and we are decades away from accepting its reality and how it affects MANY people who don't even know they are inflicted. They suffer in silence. You don't go to a bar when you're depressed cuz you can't bear to be around other people. Clinical depression should not be taken lightly. Had I not been diagnosed, I would have put a bullet in my head for sure. That's why indeed,there is so much trouble with addiction. Addition is not the disease, it is a symptom of a mental defect. It's a real shame cause medication gave me my life back. It could for many more.

"Depression" or "Bipolar" is way more insurable than drug/alcohol addiction because it is both more effectively treatable and more insurable. Plus, there's boat loads of sympathy for it (as there should be when it's real). This is why Britney's drug problems/personality disorders/basic trashiness are submitted to the general public as "mental illness", same with Oven (typo but I'm keeping it) Wilson's drug overdose...oops, I mean suicide attempt...Bottom line is someone with mental illness is considered more insurable than someone with a SERIOUS drug and alcohol problem. The stats for someone being stable/able to work produce money with a mental illness when it's under control? Pretty good. The stats for a junkie? Yeah...RIP. So, those celebs who want to work try to spin...

You can tell Kirsten is a serious misery chick, so I very much believe she was probably actually depressed. I've been there, so I can only sympathize. As someone who has suffered through years of depression, I get angry when some spoiled rotten actress uses depression as an excuse for her bad behavior.
