Lori Loughlin talked to OK! Magazine about the upcoming "90210" and she really should have kept her mouth shut! When asked about Brenda Walsh returning to the show, Lori said, “I don't think Shannen will. No. I don't think anyone wants to touch that.”
What does she mean by "touch that?" Touch greatness? Touch the best thing that happened to TV? She knows that if Brenda comes back, her days as the resident cougar on the show are numbered. And I used to like Aunt Becky....
Lori also said that she's heard talk of Luke Perry making a cameo. She confirmed that Tori Spelling is making a tiny cameo in the pilot and that she may shoot more scenes after she gives birth. Gross and gross.
It's not right, but it's okay. Brenda will get her revenge in the end!
In the clip below, Brenda finds herself in the middle of a robbery at the Peach Pit. How did she not win an Emmy for this shit? Riveting!

Um, cause 90210 was my best friend, baby-sitter, nanny, and mom all rolled up into one? Seriously, that show raised me and many many people born between 1975-1980.
The re-make will never be as cheesy and spectacular though. 90210 was all about being rewarded for doing the right thing at the end of the day. This new one will be about like anal sex or something. Otherwise teenagers won't watch it. Why not just invent some new trashy teen show and leave our beloved zip code out of it?
Regardless, I'll watch a few episodes. Just out of curiosity.

I couldnt believe Aaron Spelling was influenced by a great Canadian soap opera "Degrassi Junior High" to create 90210.
I always thought with only two exceptions, the cast of 90210 was incredibly homely.

I was on imdb.com -- and there is a whole movement to get Shannen back on the show. Seriously, there is a petition on the internet people are signing to get her back on the show.

Shannen Doherty rules all. If they put her on this show for even a second, no one would care about anyone else and the show would tank because clearly Shannen would never sign on as a full-time cast member. The robber is David Kriegel. He played in Alive (from Frank Marshall) and Speed (with Keannu Reeves). I never see him since.
Brenda was the only good thing about this lame ass show (besides Luke Perry's hair that is). Shannen Doherty should've won an Emmy, an Oscar, a Tony, hell, even a Grammy for this sh!t! Brilliant!
