And The Oscar Goes To....
Here's the Spanish-language trailer for Brad Pitt's "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button." Brad plays some dude who is born in his 80s and ages backwards. It's sort of like The Lindsay Lohan story.
The movie was directed by David Fincher and also stars Cate Blanchett, Tilda Swinton, Julia Ormond, Taraji P. Henson, Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, Elle Fanning and Jason Flemyng. It hits theaters on December 19th.
I think I liked the music better when it was in "Edward Scissorhands." Seriously, any movie with Tilda Swinton can't be that hideous.
I'm sure Brad will win an Oscar for this shit, and then his Oscar and Angie's Oscar can make babies. Shiloh will probably win an Oscar for this too even though I think she's in it for like 1 second.

I believe this movie would have been a perfect one for Johnny Depp. Johnny is on a whole other level of acting than poor Brad. It could have really been intense. Brads 2 or 3 expression acting is just ho hum.

Totally agree. As much as I loathe Tom Cruise, I have to give good reviews when they are due. Tommy's $ciento ass excellent in that film. He should try more the villain, psycho part of him instead of going for the good boy or the vanilla character. For instance, I enjoyed his ass in Collateral. He makes a perfect mental murderer. Gee, I wonder why? LOL.

Tom was great in "Collateral" - villains are his niche. He can't slip into a character and fully be that character unless he's playing a bad guy. Brad is kind of the same way. He usually just winds up being Brad Pitt on screen so that's why I'm not going to go spend my hard earned cash on this film. But it looks very interesting and has a great cast (besides BP).

I must be the only one here that thinks this film looks interesting. Very art house looking and reminds me of films made by Jean-Pierre Jeunet (whose films I completely adore).
This movie will be a DVD flick for me though, I rarely ever bother going to see movies on the big screen anymore.
I don't like many blockbuster movies, they are generally complete trash and brain rot worthy, this looks possibly quite different though and not your usual utter rubbish that Hollyweird spits out.
Brad Pitt = meh.

BTW, I doubt they had to use much makeup to make BP look old.

This might be a good or decent movie because it has a lot of good actors. I don't like Brad Pitt's acting skills normally, he always have this "duh fratboy" aura around him in his films. But I might give it a try. The story doesn't attract me much, but let's see.
I do like him in 12 monkeys and Kalifornia, tho. Somewhat his acting is better when he's not playing a handsome irresistible douchebag. Interview with the vampire was good because the others were good too.

There is a strong buzz on this film, it will likely get a few Oscar nods, it's being compared to Forrest Gump.
