Pregnant dude, aka Thomas Beatie, is currently writing a book called LOVE MAKES A FAMILY: A Memoir of Hardship, Healing and an Extraordinary Pregnancy. That title is too damn long! How about, The Life & Times of Hot Pregnant Dude! That sounds better.
Entertainment Tonight reports:
LOVE MAKES A FAMILY follows Thomas Beatie through his transformation from a girl scout and beauty queen to a fully legal and recognized man with a black belt in marital arts and a loving wife named Nancy, herself a former champion bodybuilder. It will follow Thomas and Nancy through their controversial decision to have a baby and yet not hire a surrogate to carry the child; to, instead, have Thomas--who underwent gender reassignment surgery but kept his female reproductive organs--get pregnant and carry the child himself.
I was hoping for a reality show on Vh1, but this will work! This shit better be 99% pictures. A story is best told in pictures. I'm too lazy to read all that shit. Better yet, he should make it a pop-up book. Pop-up books are fun.
Pregnant dude's book is due out September 30th. His baby is due in about 6 weeks.
I mean I get the sperm/egg thing but if s/he is married to a woman - Im assuming there was a male involved at some point right?!?!

I am starting to get the picture...a mastectomy and voila! Same sex marriage. I think this is a "dodge" to allow two women to marry before it is legal.
I am all in favor of same sex marriage...don't even know why it would be an issue. Two human beings want to marry...let them.
I am normally really open minded about shit but for some reason I am NOT ok with this. This manlady has to make up his mind, do you want to be a guy or a girl? Its such a selfish thing to do, I mean OBVIOUSLY no one is thinking about the repercussions this will have on their child. Shit, I'm more of a man then...I had to have a partial hysterectomy several years ago.
But if you're born with the parts, you are that, no matter what surgery you go through...it's all fancy dress up, really - with very invasive surgery and some drugs. But all the surgery and name-changing in the world cannot "make" you be the other gender, never, not really.
I think what pisses me off the most about this case is the fact that SHE never even has had real sex-assignment surgery, so hasn't even attempted to go the full nine yards...it's like a man who says he's a woman but still has his dick and balls...get them cut off, and I will gladly address you as a woman, if that's what you want. This person hasn't even really had anything done.

In a world where political correctness is so tight-assed you can't express opinions anymore, I felt a big internal struggle on this one. Yes, it is a woman. And a used-to-be hot one at that. And it chose to lead the life of a man. Grow a beard, lose its tits, let the pit stache flourish, that old hat. And now it's pregnant? MAKE UP YOUR MIND.
On top of this whole situation being weird and forced down our throats (this is a whole other level on top of trannies and gender confusion and all that) what's the deal with this thing's wife? Is she straight? Is she gay? Does she want a man or a woman? What is it about this thing that she likes, aside from its personality? If it indeed still has a vag, wouldn't looking at it and thinking it's a man really conflict with taking off its pants and licking beave?
This whole thing just does NOT sit well with me.

NEVER had any sex re-assignment surgery - if they're calling getting the breasts cut off as gender-reassignment surgery then every woman who's had breast cancer and had to have her breasts removed has had gender-reassignment surgery too. This is bullshit.
What a scam. I can't believe this person has actually had articles written about HER calling HER a man, and even been on TV being called a pregnant man. C'mon people! Puh-leeze!

And for someone in an earlier posts who said they didn't see the scars from having HER breasts removed, they've been Photoshopped out for this photo. There are several photos of HER floating around that plainly show the scars underneath.
I have no problem with someone who wants to be another gender than what they were born with, and if going through alllll the surgery etc to get as close as they physically can to become that gender makes them happy than so be it. This WOMAN however, hasn't done that. Still got all the reproductive parts, lady! I'm not buying it and I'm amazed so many people are. What a crock of shit.
