Wino Needs A Watch
Amy Wino won an Ivor Novello Award this afternoon, but she wasn't around to pick it up. Wino eventually arrived, but she was too late to accept her award. It takes a long time to look that haggard.
Wino's papa je'e, Mitch Wino, accepted the award for "Love Is A Losing Game" which was named Best Song. He told the audience, "I don't know what I'm doing up here. Amy couldn't make it, but she is getting better and sends you all her love."
In the picture above, You can tell Wino is already thinking about how she's going to turn that award into a pipe. Mitch Wino is thinking about how much money that award might get him on eBay.
In other Wino news, she's expected to play the Glastonbury Festival on June 28th. Hopefully, the organizers were smart enough to tell Wino that the festival is actually on June 27th. That way they have a much better chance of Wino showing up on the 28th.

Mariah is not my cup of tea, however, no one can deny she's got a great voice. I did see her on the Today Show last week, and her performance was a little lackluster.

Your friends aren't mean spirited? They gang up on anyyone that doesn't agree with them. They forget they hangout here all day and tell everyone about there problems, hangups, meds, dysfunctional lives and then they attack people. So they get what they deserve.
I love BOTH Amy's albums......."Fuck Me Pumps" is a great song....as is "Stronger than me", and "Amy, Amy, Amy...."

Um ok I do have Amy's album Back to Black (lol) but a friend burned a copy for me so I didn't give her any money. I mostly just listen to what's on the radio, I'm not super huge into the music-as-a-hobby thing. Mostly dance and pop music. I'm the one in my circle of friends with the 'bad' taste in music that everyone makes fun of (somewhat justifiably, alas).
