Glamour In Vienna
Yesterday, I posted some pictures of Nikki Cox and her fish lips from hell. I think Amanda Lepore was her inspiration. Mandy's lips have enough crap in them to keep Tupperware in business for decades. Shit, we should recycle her hot ass. All our problems will be solved. Naw, let's not recycle her. The world needs this kind of glamour and beauty. While all of us get wrinkly and saggy, Mandy will still look like this.

I guess the next step will be lips fully covering half the face. Between LePore and Cloe Latanzi, we're getting there. Then some publicity seeker will go beyond, with a face consisting primarily of lips. Celebrities will need to be carried around like Mariah, because their lips obscure their eyes.

I'm not familiar with this name and I honestly don't understand what I'm looking at. Is this a real person? I went back and forth, thought it was a mannikin, then thought it was real, but then saw the little truck it was standing on, and thought it was a posed mannikin again. I don't care how mannikin is really spelled BTW. If this is a person, they have gone beyond humanhood. It seems they are in an appropriate venue for this at a decadent ball in Vienna - they've actually stepped across the threshold and made themselves become an "objet d'art." If this was their goal, hurray, if not, then I am creeped out of my skull.

HEkki- true. They have a desire to change no matter what. I feel guilty for making fun of someone who has gender confusion you know? So it's kind of not his/her fault! But the life story/backstory on Lepore is pretty interesting. Hey at least he/she is making a good living now. The lips just over power the face and I think could look so much better...less.
I just don't understand this. But I applaud her for being who she is; it can't be easy walking down the street looking like that, even in NYC.
What I try to remember when I see people like this is that they have a very STRONG need inside them that drove them to do this to themselves. Imagine all the things one would have to DO to get to that point; all the fantasizing, making doctor's appointments, time spent in recovery rooms, salons, fetish stores, etc. It's a serious effort that must have required great desire and drive. I'm a lazy, apathetic fuck and I find it awe-inspiring that someone would be driven enough to do all that.

I think real was a bad word to describe what I meant. I meant when she is posing you could easily think she was a really intricate mannequin rather than a living person. in the headpiece (which looks pretty cool) she looks more real (the way I meant it) because she is talking.
