Brit Brit spokesbitch has already denied she's knocked up. Her friend blamed it on water-retention. britney is very childish. this is why she is on vacation instead of back in la begging to see her kids as most people would be. I imagine those kids will not be living with her any time soon. hopefully they won't. but for their sake I hope she can pull herself together well enough so that they can enjoy their visits with her.

I'm not even going to go there with you. I used to have a serious eating disorder because I was chubby my freshman year of high school and got made fun of. I wasn't even fat, just chubby. But that sent me into excersizing two hours a day and eating about 500 calories a day. I obsessed over my body and weight constantly and it was ALL because of how guys acted and talked about fat people. I got so, so thin, I had no life except starving myself and working out and STILL thinking I was fat and that everyone was thinking "Gross, that girl is so big". I am almost 5'9" and I was a size four at that point which was RIDICULOUSLY small for my frame, and I still felt that way. Now I'm a normal young women's size 6/8 - I guess that wouldn't fit into your ideal type of who should wear a bikini, but at least I'm healthy now.
After going through all that, I seriously have the attitude of fuck it - I am going to wear a bikini and I don't care if I have a little bit of cellulite, or if my ribs and hipbones aren't jutting out.

I am and always have been a Britney apologist. I am NOT a fan. I do not like her as a singer, actress, performer, celebrity, whatever. I think she is marginally talented. However, I do think that she has been used and exploited since she was a child and she is what we in the business like to call "damaged goods."
She is uneducated and not very bright. She is probably, in a lot of ways, emotionally 12 years old.
I also think that her time in the limelight is OVER. Some people rise to the top with a bullet and stay there. Some have a nice log career in relative obscurity. She reached her peak at 19 and there is no going back. She was a hot blaze that came down to smoke and ash.
Having had a traumatic childhood myself I can tell you it has taken many years of struggling to overcome it. ometimes I feel like I am back at square one.

Dramaqueen365247, Britney IS still a GIRL in MY eyes. She's young. Perhaps I'm an old bat and so I look at the world a bit differently now and I see anyone under 30 as pretty much a baby. Life can change you that way as you age. When you're the mother of 'adult' children it really opens your eyes as to the maturity level of younger people. I grew up faster than most kids because I had to so I had a skewed developmental process growing up and hence I didn't fully understand how immature 20-somethings were until I had my own 20-somethings and saw how fragile and vulnerable they can be.
Britney is a worst case scenario in walking flesh. She NEVER had the chance to grow up. She was in the spotlight and saving her family from debt at a very young age. She never even had the chance to form her own personality but instead became molded into something she most certainly was not and now she is paying for that dearly.

I think britney has done a number on her body and may be having to take several things to get herself back in order. medication bloat would also explain the too small clothes. she changed sizes quickly and hopes the weight will disappear just as quickly. if she gets proper clothes for her new size and shape she will look ok.
she just needs to remember her kids love her and won't notice a pudgy tummy. they just want to be able to spend time with a sweet mom who acts like a grown up. not a crazy lady in a pink wig.
I know her daddy is forcing her to take care of her health (mental and physical). I did not want to wake up one day to learn she had been found dead in the gutter. so I am glad her father is helping her. if he has to live with her forever well at least she has a big house.

I was just pointing out that getting back to work is part of reclaiming her life, and since she IS the one paying EVERYBODY'S bills, that is going to be where we, the general public, see what sort of progress she's made. I know I see it as how far she's let herself go, and getting in shape would show she's working on herself completely, and preparing to go back to work. It's a fair measure of how well is she actually recovering. If she's working out and dancing, she's ready to take back her career, and control of her own life again.
