A Top Model Conspiracy Theory!
Whitney Thomson became the first plus-sized winner of "America's Next Top Model" last night. It was pretty obvious. TyTy planned this shit from the beginning. She hatched out this plan over a steak dinner at "Houston's." Seriously, TyTy mentioned Houston's last night and it got me excited for some reason.
Rich from FourFour has some interesting info on how Whitney got on the show. A source told him that Whitney never auditioned for the show. She was approached by someone from the show. That's nothing new. I think many of the show's skanks were approached instead of auditioning for the show.
The source said at the time, Whitney was already modeling as a size 2 or 4. The person from the show told her size 4 was a little too big to compete as a regular model on the show. They told her if she gained around 10-20 pounds they would put her on the show as a plus-sized model. FourFour has some pictures of a much skinnier Whitney. Through the entire season, Whitney cried about how hard it was for her growing up fat or whatever.
Whitney, who is a size 8 or 10, talked to People about how she's embraced her curves, "Right before I left for the show, one of my best friends said to me, ‘You’re not going to go that far. You’re fat. Every week I would remember her saying that. And every week I was like, ‘In your face!’”
Yes, size 8 is considered "full-figured."
Anyway, I'm glad Anna Nicole Whitney won.

The show chooses girls for their TV personality and not their modeling skills. Anya looks like a model, but I have nothing against Whitney. Tyra chooses girls to prove her point and make her feel better about herself.

Since when is an 8 a plus size? Just a few years ago I remember reading a profile of the model that the fashion houses used as the perfect figure and they cut the sample sizes to fit her. She was a size 8. And she was gorgeous!
Now they cut the samples for I believe, a 4 and they have to find starving waifs to wear them. What a good look, the very sophisticated and powerful and really grown-up woman aspiring to look like a starved child. The designers are all stupid and this woman, Whitney, looks like a gorgeous woman!

I was so sick once I went down to something like 105 lb. My ribs were sticking out. I took a size 9. This is crap.
At any rate, this girl isn't plus-sized; she just has a deep ribcage, which means she doesn't have much room for her waist to nip in.
You would have to gain more than 20 lbs to go from size 4 to size 8. Plus, this chick is no size 8.
A size 8 may be plus sized in the modeling world, but not in the real world. No wonder these models starve themselves, the world they live in is fucked up. If I had to stand next to size zero amazons everyday I'd probably stop eating, too.
I think everyone looks different at the same size, since we are all built differently. The only women who look ok as a size zero are very short tiny women. I don't understand why everyone is expected to be a size zero or 2 when women come in all heights and have different bone structures. I am tall (5'9") and used to wear a size 2 and people thought I was sick. Literally, I would get asked all the time. Obviously, that size does not look best on me. I actually look best at an 8, so the modeling world can shove it up their asses.
Huh. When I was a size 8 I weighed 125 lbs (at 5'8"). I don't believe she's an 8. She's not especially "curvy," in fact she sort of lacks a defined waistline, but she's far from fat or "plus-sized."

OMG I hear you. Buying jeans is aaagooooonneeeee for me because I have a small waist but big hips and a big ole ghetto booty (thanks mom!). If I buy pants big enough for my ass there's this big gap around my waist and if I buy pants that hug my waist my big ass is busting at the seams. I just wear skirts, I seem to have less trouble that way.

I know how you feel last year I lost almost 50lbs in about 3 months time , but it was a really hardcored diet if is not that way I dont do diets ,I like to take it to the extremes

In all seriousness...I used to be fat. I grew up the chubby girl, called "tubby" growing up in grade school...I got up to 160 lbs in grade 8 at 5'0 tall...My dad once asked me why I looked "fat". So I know how it is, but I changed my life and took control. It's not easy, and when people continually look to you and basically put down everything I do, shrugging it off like, "Well, it's easy for you because of this...or because of that..." You know what? It's not easy...it's not easy at all...I bust my rear each and every day and walk around in pain most of the time because my joints or muscles ache....
I just don't want to hear the excuses anymore.

My goal weight is 130, so I have 10 more pounds to go and more toning to do. But I will never be a size 4 because of my bone structure. My hips are wide and I have curves and have natural boobs that are 34-D's, so I will never be able to squeeze into a size 4 let a lone a 2.

So tell me how I'm overweight, if I'm 5'6'', 140 LBS and a size 8? Cuz as far as I know, having hips(a fucking bone) and a perky ass does not mean you're fat. Trust me, I was a size 12 before, but lost a ton of weight by working out and watching what I eat in the course of a little over a year.
A size 8 is NOT overweight.

I bodybuild and work hard for my body...but everyone whines about how "boo-hoo....they're considered plus sized" STFU is right people. Stop crying and do something about it already....sick of seeing whiners in and out of the gym.
