I Love This Mess!
Thank Jeebus for Fantasia! This mess of a bitch added some much needed Lawry's season salt to tonight's bland American Idol. Mmmm...Lawry's season salt.
This bitch was like if Ronald McDonald's crackhead sister got a shot of the devil in her and was stuffed into a velvet jumpsuit and thrown on stage to perform. Fanny wasn't even singing. It was more like manic chicken clucking!

Last time I saw a look like Simon's was on 50 cent when he was taking in Britney Spears wonderful performance.

I guess I'm the minority here, because I actually liked it. Although she's not singing it well live, I like the song. I grew up on a lot of R&B and Soul and thought it was good. A little bit of a throw back from the late 80's- early 90's. And so what if she threw a couple of crazy chicken dance moves in there. The energy that it added to her performance and the audience made it worth it.
I may not like or watch American Idol, nor do I like Fanny, but what she did in that clip beats the rest of the bland shit that comes out of that show.

Seeing the look on Simon's face was worth 3 minutes of watching Ms. Thang there have her convulsions. Yow-zah!! What in the world WAS that mess? And has she always sounded like that? I need some of what she's on; imagine how much you could get accomplished in a day with that kind of energy!!

nahh..... she intentionally picked a song that was beyond anti American Idol due to the failure of their promotion of her. They screwed her over because they didnt want to market to a soul/r&b audience just like with Ruben because AI is intentionally pop and she is not marketable in a pop market. So ... she just said screw it.... and pretty much did dancing from The Color Purple... and screamed around for 5 minutes since thats how the powers that be at AI treated her. Good for her. I thought it was hillarious but I also actually love her energy. MUCH better than Taylor Hicks, and Jordin Sparks. Oy.
WTF was she singing? The look on Simon's face, was priceless.

I was expecting to really dislkie it, but I had no clue I was going to be staring at my TV with a slack jaw and wondering if this wasn't a joke.
She was screaming! Her looks, the song, the background dancers combined with her chicken dance made it hysterically bad. I loved Simon's expression too.
This has got to be on SNL.
And she looks like Dennis Rodman.
It was pretty bad. Not much resembling notes there.
