Britney Spears is reportedly opening her own dance studio, might host the Kids Choice Awards and is in talks for her own CBS sitcom. Brit's latest offer is definitely the one she should take. Producers of a new revival of "A Streetcar Named Desire" in London have offered Brit the lead role of Blanche DuBois. If Brit accepts the role, she would follow in the footsteps of Vivien Leigh, Jessica Lange, Jessica Tandy, Tallulah Bankhead and Glenn Close.

A source close to the production told Showbiz Spy, “Britney’s been on the list for this for some time but was considered too risky until her recently. Her appearance in the American TV show How I Met You Mother changed all that. She had poise, timing and real flair. We wanted her for Blanche because, even though she’s technically too young to play her, who else could embody this fallen Southern Belle so well? She’s living out the story, so to harness that on stage would be amazing for an audience to see — and cathartic for Britney, too.”

YES! Booking my ticket to London right now. Brit's baby voice was born to say, "I've always depended on the kindness of strangers." They should consider a name change though. If Brit plays the character, her name should changed to Blanche NoBras.

They could make it a family affair! Jamie Lynn as Stella, KFed as Stanely and London as Mitch. Brilliant casting!
