Comedienne/Actress Sherri Shepherd will join "The View" permanently this Monday reports People Magazine . Sherri was said to have been in deep negotations with producers when Whoopi was negotiating her contract. Sherri and producers couldn't make a deal at that time and it was over money. Apparently, Sherri wanted what Whoopi was making. In her dreams!

 

A rep for ABC only said that an official announcement about who fills the 5th slot will come Monday from Barbara Walters.

 

Whoopi's debut on The View earlier this week was the second most-watched show behind Rosie O'Donnell's debut.

 

I enjoy Sherri, but another damn comedienne?! They needed some crazy, conservative lawyer bitch! Someone who will stir things up. Ann Coulter? Dr. Laura? Star Jones even! I really wanted them to fill that slot with a hateful bitch that I would love to hate! Oh well, The View's going to get boring now!
