I'll Take Cardiology For $200

Game show host hotness Alex Trebek is on the mend and has returned home from the hospital after suffering a mild heart attack on Tuesday.  TMZ has a statement he has issued:

"I'm truly overwhelmed by the great show of support and compassion expressed in the past few days to me, my family and my coworkers. Even though I know Jeopardy! is a very popular program, I was still surprised at the number of people who took time from their schedules to call or send a note of encouragement. I thank you all so very much. I'm on the mend, and will be spending Christmas at home with my family. I will be back in the studio on January 14 to tape our Teen Tournament, which is always one of my favorite competitions. Meanwhile, I hope you will continue to watch and enjoy the program. The shows were taped before my heart attack, so what you are seeing is original, not rerun material. Happy Holidays to all of you. Alex"

Of course we care! Jeopardy will go on! Glad you're feeling better Alex!

Denied

Brit Brit tried to get into the Four Seasons parking lot last night, but hillbilly was DENIED. TMZ has the video of Brit pulling up to the parking garage and being told through the intercom "I'm sorry, you're not authorized to come in." Of course she responds with, "Wha?!"

Brit's only friends, the paps, shout into the intercom, "She's Britney Spears dammit! She can come in. Let her in." Dude, that's the reason she was denied.

Britney then gives up and starts heading to the front of the hotel, but before departing tells the paps "Party at my house tonight!"

The Four Seasons probably can't get over the fact that she cheated on them with another hotel. They don't want her money. That's pretty sad.

Here's pictures of Brit with her assistant leaving Starbucks yesterday. That assistant looks like she hates life with a passion. She probably has to dig her nails into her thighs just to keep herself from jumping out the car door.

Not A Good Idea

Director Julie Taymor revealed that they recently had a workshop of the Broadway musical version of "Spider-Man." Julie who directed "Across the Universe" is working on the show with U2's Bono and The Edge. At the recent workshop, Evan Rachel Wood played Mary Jane and her "Across the Universe" co-star Jim Sturgess played Spider-Man.

Julie told E!'s Planet Gossip , “We had a workshop reading with Jim as Peter and Evan as Mary Jane. I would love for them to do it. But I don’t know. It’s all about timing. Jim is new to the movie thing, and he has, like, four movies coming out.

Julie also directed the mega-hit "The Lion King" on Broadway.

When I first heard they were turning Spider-Man into a musical with songs by Bono, I thought it was a bad joke. It looks like they are actually going through with it. Way to humiliate yourself.

Don't get me wrong the thought of a dude singing lame songs while wearing a spidey costume tickles my gay bone, but this just has disaster written all over it.

Turning It Up

Eva Longoria and Tony Parker left LAX last night looking "in love." The two told photographers they were going on a romantic weekend alone. Barf. This is the most I've seen these two together since they were married. With all these cheating rumors going around, they sure are turning it up.

Eva also brought her little dog along for her romantic weekend with the hubby. You know that dog is like "Bitch please. You're gonna be spending more time cuddling up to me than your own husband. Lucky me!
