Someone Get This Lazy Kid A Spanish Speak-And-Spell
Justin Bieber is featured on a remix of Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee’s song Despacito. According to Luis, Justin reached out to him and asked to record a remix because he liked the song so much (it was already pretty popular). Justin sang his verse in English and the chorus in Spanish. This is what it sounds like:
Justin’s remix is currently sitting at the number-one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 for the second week in a row, so it wasn’t a surprise that he was handed a mic and asked to sing it during an appearance at 1OAK in New York City on Tuesday night. Unfortunately, Justin couldn’t remember any of the lyrics besides “despacito.” So he made up the rest of the lyrics in the laziest way possible.
At first Justin just fills in the blanks with a bunch of “bla bla blas,” as heard in this video obtained by TMZ.
Spin found another video of Justin’s performance. It appears he eventually attempted to put in just a bit more effort. And by “effort” I mean he switched out his “bla bla blas” for as many Spanish-sounding words he knows, like Dorito.

It’s a miracle he can even remember a handful of English words, let alone all those 4th grade reading level Spanish words Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee gave him to say. Like, reading Spanish words AND remembering them? Come on, that’s a lot to ask of Bieber. At least now we have confirmation that if you force him to think on his feet, he responds by turning into an obnoxious frat dude on Spring Break. (Snaps fingers wildly at server) “Yo quiero a big-ass burrito and like, six cerverzas, por favor. And bla bla bla bring it rapido, I’m losing my buzz.”
