Lindsay Lohan’s Mykonos Beach Club And Reality Show Are Over

Well now we know why Lindsay Lohan has been cranking it in the studio. It’s being reported that MTV’s Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club  is deader than Dina Lohan’s finances. It also looks like the Mykonos beach club that reality show was based on is also done. Yes, there’s a very good chance Lindsay has lost her show and her beach club in one fell swoop. Hope she saved some of that MTV money (HAHAHA) or it’s back to the yacht girl life she goes!

Page Six has learned that MTV will not be renewing Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club for a second season. Which is dry girl. Even Newport Harbor got two seasons.

According to Page Six, the show had some decent premiere numbers in terms of people giving a fuck. But the thing about Lindsay Lohan is, if she’s not being messy no one cares. I guess she thought that acting like a bitchy, entitled boss would translate to the American people? It did not. We’ve already got Lisa Vanderpump.

After the January premiere, the viewership “plummeted”  and the reviews for it were worse. A source said that MTV tried to go back to the drawing board with the show but it didn’t pan out:

“There was a renewal idea that producers hoped would perk it up for a second season. It would be turned into a show about Lindsay and [her mother] Dina and [sister] Ali, [but] that wasn’t going to happen.”

Yeah, Dina Lohan’s too busy being in a relationship with a man she’s never met and Ali Lohan is busy doing whatever it is she does exactly.

According to the source, the show just didn’t have “enough drama” for MTV:

“They wanted ‘breakdowns.’ That’s not where [Lohan] is at with her life anymore. Their personal business doesn’t need to be aired on television; it’s already in the papers anyway.”

And as for that club of hers which opened in May of last year, the phone number listed on TripAdvisor wasn’t working when Page Six tried calling, and another number from the club’s website connected to the Lohan Nightclub in Athens. Yeah, so she’s now doing the whole Athens thing she mentioned. I’m sure that will be equally successful as this one-year run of the Lohan Beach Club. A source said:

“A friend had reservations this week, and the club just called and said that they will not be opening this season.”

Or any other season. Another source who was vacationing in Greece last month said that the club wasn’t open then either:

“The locals said it was a waste [of time to go].”

They also point to a social media commenter who said:

“They advertised being open for [the] summer season, specifically late May. We drove past and it’s literally [deserted] . . . The Lohan sign is stripped off.”

She probably can’t afford another sign, she needed to bring it to Athens. And Lindsay is saying the club didn’t close, it’s just moving to a whole new place. The Daily Mail caught some deleted Instagram posts where she says that she’s just moving the club to Athens. Unclear if it’s a beach or just a club, but hey. She then posted a picture of four random children (whose children Lindsay?!) and tells Page Six they should write about Istanbul and Syria instead of gossip. Right that’s where I go for the state of global affairs: BBC World and Page Six.

Listen, Lindsay is an entrepreneuse, she’ll land on her sandals (get it? Because beaches?). And she’s friends with Tiffany Trump! If that family knows how to do something, it’s maintain being a rich person and siphoning money from various places without ever having to be successful at something.
