Mel B Was Upset That Victoria Beckham Didn’t Come To The Final Spice Girls Concert

Would you rather jet off to Spain with your hot husband for a wedding that is crawling with football hunks and has a top shelf open bar, or stay home to go to a loud ass concert just to say “hi” to your annoying ex-coworkers? Anybody picking the latter has something wrong with their brain. But Victoria Beckham’s no fool. Posh didn’t make it to the final show of The Spice Girls’ Spice World 2019 tour at Wembley stadium this past weekend which upset Mel B, even though Posh had a perfectly legitimate excuse (in addition to simply not giving a shit). Seriously, how many times does Posh have to show the sole of her 6-inch hot pink Victoria Beckham brand stiletto before Mel gets the picture? She’s good love, enjoy.

Mel appeared on Good Morning Britain because she and co-host Piers Morgan seem to share a pathological need for attention, and shared her irritation that Victoria couldn’t be arsed to stop by and say hi after the final Spice Girls concert. (via People)

“I expected her to come and just say hi at least. Not even on stage, just as an audience member supporting,” Brown, aka Scary Spice, said on ITV’s Good Morning Britain.

“Do I look like I know [why she didn’t]? I don’t know. I’m sure she has her reasons for not,” she continued. “I’ve already said, ‘Yeah, I’m upset.’ I still am a little bit. But it is what it is and us girls, we all support each other no matter what. But yeah, it is disappointing.”

GMB co-host Susanna Reid pointed out that Victoria was at a wedding of soccer player Sergio Ramos in Spain, but Mel was unmoved. Again, I must pose the quandary. Would you rather go to this party?

Or this party?

I’m seriously trying to picture Victoria reaching one of her diamond encrusted hands into a backstage cooler filled with cheap beer and standing next to a Tesco crudité platter giving air kisses and making small talk, knowing her every move will be reported to Piers Morgan first thing in the morning. Thankfully, Mel’s not going to let it ruin their relationship.

Brown, 44, then clarified that despite the let-down, there was no feud between her, Beckham, 45, Emma Bunton, 43, aka Baby Spice, Geri Halliwell, 46, aka Ginger Spice, and Melanie “Mel C” Chisholm, 45, aka Sporty Spice.

“No [it’s not a rift]. We’re all adults, we all have to respectfully get on with whatever,” she said. “But it is a bit disappointing, let’s put it that way.”

Isn’t being aloof and inaccessible canonical behavior for the Posh Spice character anyway? She made a congratulatory post on Instagram at the start of the tour AND she’s going to let them animate her. She’s just not trying to break a sweat or inhale stale stadium hot dog air. What more do you want from her, Scary Spice? Blood?! Actually, don’t answer that.

Here’s the video. The Posh stuff if at the beginning.
