Britney Spears Accused The Paparazzi Of Doctoring Photos To Make Her Look Bigger

June 11, 2019 / Posted by:

It seems like Britney Spears is trying really hard to control her own narrative at the moment (even if her dad just filed papers to spread the conservatorship to Louisiana too), and as a wholly unqualified, and frankly quite dangerous life coach (I’m still working on getting my intimacy teacher‘s “license”), I would advise her to pick her battles. Also, I’d suggest she invest in a high quality waterproof mascara. But I don’t think Britney is following advice at the moment.

Last night, Britney posted a video to Instagram calling out the paparazzi for selling pictures of her in a bikini that she claims they’ve “messed with”. And to prove she’s still a skinny legend, Brit Brit showed off her tum tum and did a little dance. She also posted an Instagram live video questioning the realness of news and insisting she’s “skinny as a needle”. I fully expect my invoice for Life Coach Services Rendered to be returned to me unpaid.

While on vacation in Miami with her hot piece Sam Asghari, the couple did what you are supposed to do while on vacation in Florida; ride jet skis and reenact Jack and Rose’s prow pose on a yacht. Of course the paparazzi were there to catch the action. When Britney saw the photos, she said she felt she looked 40 pounds heavier than she actually is, and took to Instagram to prove she’s still the only person who looks good in low-rise jeans.

Her IG Live video is a bit more disturbing, especially given that Britney indicated a burgeoning interest in “conspiracy theories” and questioned if the “news is really real”.

I think this message is in response both the paparazzi pictures and the reaction she got on Instagram when some of the commenters questioned when a bikini shot of her on a peacock pool floatie was actually taken. She said (via Entertainment Tonight):

“But my question to all of you is, a lot of fans in our world today, they always are subject to really criticize people and say that the pictures and videos that they’re posting are either not on time or they’re fake.

That Britney is even active on Instagram, let alone reading her comments, let alone giving any credence to them, is alarming. Again, even though my “credentials” have lapsed, I can still say with confidence that this is no way to live. It makes me genuinely sad to see Britney struggle with her image so publicly. All I see in these paparazzi shots is a beautiful, smiling woman enjoying a yacht ride with a hunk. And I’m so, so sorry she sees anything different. Even if they are photoshopped!
