Miranda Lambert’s Marriage Might Already Be In Trouble
At least if you believe Radar Online and Star magazine. Then again, this is the marriage that began after Miranda Lambert hit the three-month mark with an NYPD officer/one-time part-time model and father to a brand-new baby, and thought, “Yeah, let’s make this legal.” So Radar and Star didn’t have to reach too far to grab this one. According to sources, Miranda and her husband of almost five months, Brendan McLoughlin, aren’t exactly leading that sweet newlywed life.
One source that spoke to Radar claims that things aren’t great because they’re never together. Brendan lives and works in NYC while Miranda is based in Nashville. She’s a little bit country, he’s a little bit Big Apple enforcement. The source adds that they live “completely different lives.”
Another source claims Miranda might have rushed into this marriage because her petty senses were tingling. The source says that Miranda heard her ex-husband Blake Shelton was close to getting married to Gwen Stefani, and so she got quickie-married to her boyfriend of three months as a way to “upstage” them. Another source says that Miranda didn’t think about how a long-distance marriage would work, especially in regards to getting pregnant. One source claims that Miranda wants a baby, but it hasn’t happened because Brendan can only see her a couple days each month. Is that really a problem? It’s 2019. I’m sure Miranda could solve it by overnighting a FedEx package to Brendan containing a cooler bag and a Playboy, and telling him to return everything to Nashville when he’s done.
Star took it one step further, and is saying that Miranda and Brendan have one foot in a divorce lawyer’s office. They say Miranda is moving out of their $2 million apartment in New York, and has told friends that marrying Brendan was the “biggest mistake” of her life. A source adds that Miranda was getting tired of flying Brendan back and forth from New York to Nashville. And, there’s also the chance Miranda didn’t have Brendan sign a prenup, which means money drama on top of Miranda’s regular drama.
Gossip Cop says none of this is true. A rep for Miranda says that there is no truth to the story, and that she’s very happy – and still together – with Brendan. So I guess Star was lying when they reported that Blake contacted Miranda after catching wind of the alleged divorce news, and texted her, “Better luck next time!” Actually yeah, Star was definitely lying about that. Blake doesn’t seem like the type that texts. He hollers. And he only hollers into the next room to see if someone can bring him a bag of pork rinds and a beer to dip them in.
