Chris Kattan Claims Lorne Michaels Pressured Him To Sleep With A Director

Chris Kattan is claiming Lorne Michaels is not only a boss but also a bit of a pimp. Chris Kattan recounts that while making “A Night At The Roxbury”  Amy Heckerling (who was supposed to direct it) wanted a piece of Mango and tried to get with him. When he turned her down, she threatened to quit the movie. This infuriated Lorne and he tried to (allegedly) get Chris to give her a piece of Mango.

According to Page Six, Chris Kattan has a new memoir out called Baby, Don’t Hurt Me and he writes about his #MeToo moment when Amy tried to Harvey Weinstein him and Lorne nudged at him to do it.

“Saturday Night Live” alum Chris Kattan claims in a new book that producer Lorne Michaels once pressured him to have sex with a director so she would stay attached to the 1990s comedy film “A Night At The Roxbury.”

In his memoir, “Baby, Don’t Hurt Me,” Kattan said director Amy Heckerling was slated to helm the 1998 movie when she came onto him. Kattan, then 27, writes that he rebuffed the 43-year-old “Clueless” director’s advances.

The next day, he says he got a call from a “furious” Michaels, who allegedly told him Heckerling was considering backing out of the project.

Michaels allegedly told him that “Paramount would only do the movie if Amy signed on as a director, not as a producer,” and if he “wanted to make sure the movie happened, then [he] had to keep Amy happy.”

“Chris, I’m not saying you have to fuck her, but it wouldn’t hurt,” Michaels allegedly said.

In 2019, I didn’t think I’d ever hear about the director of Clueless sleazily trying to get Mango on the casting couch and threatening the Don of Saturday Night Live to quit directing the Night At The Roxbury movie if he didn’t go through with it. The FUCK? to all of that.

Chris Kattan did end up fucking Amy Heckerling but claims it was consensual (as consensual as your boss asking you to sleep with someone can be, I guess….) and it happened exactly where you think it would, the casting couch.

Kattan alleged that ultimately he and Heckerling had a consensual sexual encounter on the couch in her office. “She thought it would be fun to have sex on Lorne’s desk,” he wrote. “Wow, what a great idea! Jesus Christ. I said a polite ‘Fuck, no!’ to that, so we ended up going to her office and having sex on … yep, you guessed it, the ‘casting couch.’ ”

Kattan writes that he was attracted to Heckerling but at the same time “was very afraid of the power she and Lorne wielded over my career.” He decided not to tell anyone about the incident but wrote that it put a strain on his already fraying relationship with actress Jennifer Coolidge.

Amy did not end up directing the movie (she ended up as a producer) and Chris Kattan and Jennifer Coolidge ended up breaking up after all.

Also, no word on where the fuck Will Ferrell was during all of this? Probably just practicing his synchronized head dancing, shirtless as his co-star gets the casting couch treatment by the director and weirdly Lorne Michaels. All while wearing A Night At The Roxbury suit. Everything about this is a wrong mess.
