Cardi B Talked About Why She Admitted Having Lipo

Believe it or not, but a famous person actually underwent plastic surgery. That’s not the story here, the story is that the famous person actually admitted it and didn’t instead tell everyone she got that body from pilates and The Whole 30. During her set, Cardi B told the crowd at the Beale Street Music Festival in Memphis last weekend that she just had lipo done. And she did it in the most Cardi way possible.

According to BuzzFeed, here’s what Cardi told everyone.

“I should have canceled today, because moving too much is gonna fuck up my lipo,” she told the Beale Street Music Festival audience. “But bitch, I’m still gonna get this motherfucking money back. Let’s go!”

I guess she figured if she passed out on stage from moving around too much she’d rather let the crowd know it was because of complications from her surgery and not from being whacked out on drugs. However there’s a deeper meaning to why she decided to overshare. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight during the launch of her Fashion Nova line last night, Cardi explained the rigors of being young, rich and beautiful and the pain that goes into looking your absolute best with the help of a plastic surgeon’s scalpel.

“I want to explain to people how hard it is to process. I feel like people look at girls on Instagram and go, ‘Oh, they got their lipo done and it was so easy,”‘ she said. “It is just such a long, hard process, almost like the same process as after you give birth to a baby and you see your body change and snapping it back.”

Well, it’s official: Cardi has finally made it to the Big Time because she’s complaining about First World rich lady problems. And since she’s already gotten her teeth and tits done you know the face lift is coming next. Then the butt lift. And before long we’ll be watching a performance of ‘Kodak Black‘ wondering “Why the hell is Lil’ Kim singing Cardi’s shit?” before recognizing that it is Cardi.
