Lori Loughlin And Mossimo Are Already Talking To Crisis PR People About How To Salvage Their Images

Since being charged and arrested in Operation Varsity Blues– where Lori Loughlin and Mossimo allegedly paid $500,000 to get their daughters into USC by fraudulently claiming they were on a rowing team–the couple have rightfully been through it. Other parents, namely Felicity Huffman, seem to be already putting this behind them. We haven’t really heard anything since Felicity pled guilty to the charges and is awaiting sentencing. Meanwhile, Lori and Mossimo are pleading not guilty in vain, and have stories in the news every five minutes with a new source talking to People about something heroic or whatever that was really just PR.

Well, Lori and Mossimo are picking up their need for social approval and they are digging their own graves with it, because sources are telling CNN that they’re so interested in keeping a good public image the couple is already seeking out crisis management help.

CNN reports that Lori and Mossimo are chock-full of self-involved delusion. You’d think that an impending billion-dollar lawsuit and potentially decades in prison for financial crimes would be a main topic of daily worry. But not for these two! They’re worried how they look whilst experiencing the above.

Two crisis management executives have spilled the tea to CNN under condition of anonymity. The first executive said this:

“She [Loughlin] has been having preliminary talks with some top crisis management firms on what she can do to change the public perception. I truly believe she thinks she’s going to not serve jail time and return to work.”

Exec #1 said that Martha Stewart‘s post-prison comeback was referenced, and said that Lori is “agonizing” over repairing her Hallmark Original bland-vanilla yogurt image:

“It’s killing her that her squeaky clean reputation has done a total 180. She reads everything that’s written about her, and she’s already thinking about how she can turn her image around.”

Girl, you are not going to pull a Martha Stewart. The other executive had this to say about Lori reaching out and is giving some actually helpful free advice:

“Resolving the legal situation should be [Loughlin and Giannulli’s] primary focus. Once that is resolved, [they] can then turn to how to reclaim their image and brand.”

Reclaim that tepid vanilla, Lori. But exec #2 said that Lori isn’t the only rich person trying to get people to worship them again and says that three other defendants in the scandal approached them but they passed on every single one. And they also threw Lori a bone saying maybe she can comeback from this:

“Do I think [Loughlin] can come back? Yes. Being imperfect and explaining things from a parenting perspective can make her relatable when the time is right.”

CNN reached out to Lori’s publicist and since they only like sources who talk to People, they were not too happy about the information being spread elsewhere:

“There are people out there throwing their names at the media that are trying to get attention. At this time Lori and Mossimo are focusing on their legal case. There is no crisis PR team being brought in.”

Lori and Mossimo need to stop calling crisis PR people and call the prosecutor instead to beg them for forgiveness and just do what Felicity Huffman did to save herself. Have they not seen Law & Order?! They should binge watch a season, just one, so they’ll see that eventually the bad guy gets pinned against the wall and has to make concessions so they don’t get murdered in jail for being a snitch. They’re not at that level, but still.
