43-Year-Old Johnny Galecki’s 21-Year-Old Girlfriend Is Pregnant

Johnny Galecki must’ve been stressing over what to do with his free time once The Big Bang Theory comes to a close at the end of this season. Besides dodging calls from Sara Gilbert to come on to The Conners full-time, he probably pondered taking up golf, collecting luxury cars or traveling the world, but went with option D: becoming a first time father at the age of 43. And who is the lucky lady incubating the little Galecki? (Note: Little Galecki sounds like what a Polish grandmother would call a cute child while pinching the shit out of its plump cheeks.) That would be Alaina Meyer, Johnny’s 21-year-old girlfriend of over a year.

I know, I know, there’s a mild Hollywood-type age difference of a meager 22 years, but Johnny is on the precipice of the stage of life where a daily Lay-Z-Boy disco nap is de rigueur, and someone young and energetic has got to chase after the baby when the nannies aren’t around, so having a baby with a 21-year-old is the perfect solution!

Johnny and Alaina simultaneously announced her pregnancy with his and hers Instagram posts, both highlighting the timeless and ageless over the moon-ness of it all. I prefer Johnny’s post to Alaina’s, however, because in his he illustrates how excited he is for us members of the general public to be a part of their baby making.

Johnny and Alaina made their red carpet debut as a couple in November 2018, but intense internet sleuthing (i.e. five minutes on Alaina’s social media) confirms that they’ve been together since January 2018. And now they are taking the next step in their coupledom by bringing their 16 month romance to a crashing halt with the introduction of insomnia, diarrhea stains everywhere, poor parental hygiene and frayed nerves from endless baby tears. In other words, congratulations to the happy couple!
