Chris Brown Went After Chvrches For Criticizing His Collaboration With Marshmello
Washington state is inches away from passing a bill that will end clock changes and make it Pacific Daylight Time year-round. Sloth-like humans are saying HELL YES to the change, with only a few sadists in the state House voting to continue the evil tradition of rising in pitch blackness in the bowels of winter with a Vote of 89 to 7. Regardless of this potential bucking of the system and upset of the status quo, the world is still spinning, the birds are still chirping, and Chris Brown is still being an asshole. In other words, nothing has changed. There’s a new tale of Chris Brown assholery today, this time against the Scottish band Chvrches, who publicly stated their disappointment in DJ/Producer Marshmello for working with Chris and Tyga on an upcoming project.
The feud started when Chvrches, fronted by singer Lauren Mayberry, posted to Instagram the band’s disappointment after learning that Marshmello, their friend and collaborator on Here With Me, was engaged in a project with Tyga and Chris, whom it probably doesn’t need to be stated, has a long rap sheet of abuses against women. Marshmello, who often wears a huge marshmallow on his head, has collaborated with Demi Lovato, Khalid, Logic, Anne-Marie and had the big hit Wolves with Selena Gomez, so it’s safe to say that he’s at a point in his career where he can call his own shots.

It did not take long for Chris to become enraged and hiss back at Chvrches, calling them a “bunch of losers” and the type of people that he wished “walked in front of a speeding bus full of mental patients“. Just when I was trying to see things from Chris’ point of view, he just had to go and throw in there that the speeding bus is full of mental patients. He almost had me walking in his shoes, but before I could loosen the laces to slip my toes in, I had to kick those shoes right on out the window and pour bleach on my feet.

The Fader says that Tyga also responded to Chvrches in a bit less overheated way by saying that “everyone makes mistakes” and to “keep the energy positive.” Tyga’s mistake presumably being shacking up with an underage Kylie Jenner. His next mistake presumably leaving the lifetime gravy train that is Kylie Jenner and her self-made billions. Big mistake… HUGE.
Lauren from Chvrches has re-posted Instagram messages she has received in the aftermath of the band’s comments regarding Chris and Tyga, saying “Angry men on the internet can call me all the names they want. I still think domestic abuse is wrong“.
