Following In Melissa Etheridge’s Footsteps, Chelsea Handler Is Done Publicly Hating On Angelina Jolie
It’s a brave new world when Chelsea Handler reveals that she will no longer be air-kissing the c-word over at Angelina Jolie anymore. Life seems so strange and unfamiliar now that Chelsea Handler is wishing Angelina Jolie good luck on talk shows! ET reports that Chelsea told yappy celebrity ass-licker Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live this week that she’s through publicly shitting on her arch-nemesis Angelina Jolie. Meanwhile, in some refugee camp somewhere, Angelina Jolie overheard the name “Chelsea Handler” in relation to hers on Radio Free Europe or whatever and asked aloud, “who?”
Chelsea Handler famously went on the attack after Brad Pitt left her good friend Jennifer Aniston for Angie in 2005. Dropping cunt bombs on Angie became the order of the day as Chelsea tried her damnedest to become Queen Bee Bestie of Aniston’s Cabo Wabo Pity Party. Times change.
Handler, a longtime friend of Pitt’s ex-wife, Jennifer Aniston, admitted that she has some regrets about how she’s spoken about Jolie in the past.
“You know what, I’m upset that I was so upset with Angelina Jolie,” she confided. “I realize she’s just trying to do her best, too.”

Handler quickly added, “I mean, obviously, I’m not going to hang out with her, but I get it now. I have more sympathy and empathy for people that are like, ‘She’s really a mom and a wife and whatever she is. I’m not sure but good luck to her.'”
Brad’s former friend Melissa Etheridge was also a guest on WWHL, causing Chelsea to note that “this is like a meeting of the Angelina Jolie fan club.” Melissa revealed that she’s now done defending Brad publicly after receiving a gentle warning from Angie’s fixer Judy Smith (the inspiration for Olivia Pope on Scandal) back in the day. Melissa defended Brad from those child abuse allegations on Cohen’s Sirius XM radio show at the time and then performed a “please don’t sue me, Angie” ditty she wrote on WWHL two days later. Cohen asked about the response to the song way back in 2016, according to US Weekly.
“It was really tense there for a day … getting kind of threatened,” the 57-year-old singer said on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen on Thursday, April 11. “And you know what? It all just — poof! — went away.”
