Ginger Spice Says She Didn’t Hook Up With Scary Spice
Just a week ago fan fiction sites lit up with all the new Spice Girl Ginger x Scary love stories being fueled by Mel B. While appearing on Conversation With An Asshole aka Piers Morgan’s Life Stories, Mel let it slip that she had got it on with Geri Horner, when they were in the early days of the Spice Girls. Well Geri has thought a lot about what Mel has said, and while she appreciates Mel saying she has great boobs (I’m assuming) she needs to state for the record that there was no secret lesbian relationship going on.
The Daily Mail reports that on Sunday Geri decided it was time she send a little statement out to the press about that whole lesbian sexcapade Mel brought up. The claim was made to Piers Morgan that Mel and Geri had a hot hookup when they started in the Spice Girls and were living in a house together. That quickly turned into a rumor suggesting it wasn’t a one-time thing but it was actually a full-on year-long lesbian relationship.
Sources were saying it was “lust at first sight” for Scary and Ginger and that they were getting it on for months:
“It was in the very early days of the Spice Girls and their relationship lasted far longer than one night – it was at least 12 months.”
Oh girl, this is exactly what Mel was worried about when she initially spilled the tea. Immediately after telling Piers she banged Ginger, Mel was regretting her big mouth. She was reported to have hopped on the phone and begun the damage control, and Piers–who clearly has the integrity and respect of a dog’s vomit–confirmed as much, saying:
“There was a lot of flurried activity after the recording. I said ”Where’s Mel?’ They said: ‘She’s just making a call to try and smooth things over.'”
Stand up guy. Have a guest on, have them make a revelation, sell them out publicly. That’s Piers Morgan for you!
Well Geri is pissed and she’s letting you know it. She gave an official statement saying it didn’t happen but don’t worry, we’re still going on tour so buy your tickets!
“It has been very disappointing to read about all these rumours again, especially on Mother’s Day of all days. Geri loves the Spice Girls: Emma, Melanie, Melanie and Victoria [Beckham]. She would like [the fans] to know that what has been reported recently is simply not true and has been very hurtful to her family. Moving forward, Geri can’t wait to see the girls and all the fans on the tour, have an amazing time with everyone, and make some new memories.”
Mother’s Day is in March in the UK, just so you guys don’t all go: “Bitch, it’s not Mother’s Day.” Like, for her it is.
Well Mel has some ‘splaining to do and she needs to start apologizing hardcore. A source said:
“Mel messaged the girls to tell them about what she had said after filming the interview, but she didn’t even say sorry. She needs to do some serious grovelling to make up with Geri. This isn’t something she’s going to forget easily.”
Yeah, you can’t just spill someone else’s bisexual tea like that! That is a secret for you and Geri… …to decide together when is best to reveal and gain the most amount of attention possible! Being maybe gay isn’t worth anything unless it’s worth something! Don’t you know how this works?
