Sharon Osbourne Claims That Simon Cowell Fired Her For Being Too Old
Back in October, X Factor UK judge Sharon Osbourne exited her job with a delicate Facebook post explaining that she thought the show was in good hands and they’d be fine without her. It was interesting timing seeing as shortly before her announcement, she referred to the show as “fucking karaoke” and the contestants as “little shits” in a Howard Stern interview. Well, Sharon’s now saying she didn’t quit – she was fired. She’s also claiming that X Factor UK producer and hirsute heartthrob Simon Cowell axed her because she’s too old to be judging fucking karaoke sung by little shits.
People reports that, on Thursday’s episode of The Talk, Sharon revealed that she lost out on a judging gig on that terrifying singing competition show with the nightmarish fetish costumes (The Masked Singer) because she thought she was staying on X Factor. She was wrong.
“I’ve turned down to do the judge on the Masked Singer,” Osbourne explained. “I was signed on to do another show at the time. I was signed to go to England, and then Simon Cowell changed his mind and thought I was too old,” Osbourne claimed.
She even has a direct quote from the surly, furry Englishman himself.
“Simon goes, ‘She’s old. We need somebody young.’” Osbourne did not say how she had learned of the alleged remark.
Simon Cowell is known for having a pec game that puts all the other dad bods to shame. It’s obvious that Sharon is jealous over all the boobage. Crass 66-year-old that she is, she dragged Simon’s luscious breastplates.
Still upset over the alleged incident, Osbourne said, “So if you want young, fire yourself and get rid of those man tits.”
Sharon’s open to returning to the youthful funfest that is X Factor UK despite having just called the producer fat and already having insulted the gig up and down.
“Call me tomorrow, we’ll discuss it,” Osbourne added, directing her comment to Cowell, 59.
Simon’s used to dealing with mercurial types (see: Paula Abdul) and he likes ratings, so he’s apt to give Sharon a call. And she’d show up. Hell, they probably planned this.
