Cory Booker Gushed About Rosario Dawson On “Ellen”

March 20, 2019 / Posted by:

Dating Rosario Dawson is clearly the coolest thing presidential candidate Cory Booker has ever done. Back in February when he let it slip on The Breakfast Club that he “got a boo”, I was 100% convinced that said boo either lived in Canada, or was created in his bedroom using an old Commodore and a knock-off Barbie with wires wrapped around its tits. But I was wrong! Corey really does have a flesh and blood lady friend, a fact confirmed by Rosario herself. And according to Cory, things are so serious that he’s comfortable joking on Ellen about a White House wedding and gushing about how she’s made him a better man.

And by better man, I think he means she makes him seem like a “cooler man” than he actually is, which is about this many cools:

This is like some sort of dad joke infinity loop. Kind of like the time Cory kept telling the same corny joke, 10 years running, about breaking up with sleep so he could date coffee. Cory had this to say to Ellen DeGeneres about Rosario, whom he should start calling his cafe con leche for consistency (via People):

“She’s a deeply soulful person and has taught me a lot of lessons about love already,” Booker said about Dawson, 39. “Sometimes you show the greatest strength when you make yourself vulnerable. She really has this nurturing spirit that has made me more courageous, not just in the love that I project and want to see in our country, but I think even in our personal relationships — to love more fearlessly.”

“I’m really really blessed to be with somebody who makes me a better person,” he added.

“She’s just an incredible human being.”

During the interview, Cory tried to pretend that Rosario accidentally spilled the beans about their relationship when she got “ambushed by TMZ”, but I’m not buying it. We’re supposed to believe that Cory and Rosario didn’t coordinate when they’d announce their relationship, yet clearly coordinated on how they were going to describe each other? Rosario told TMZ that Cory is “an amazing human being” and Cory calls Rosario “an incredible human being” on Ellen. This further suggests that this is a “Canadian” romance. Us Weekly reports that Cory once went on a date with Katie Couric. I bet you can guess how Katie described him.

“I had a blind date with Cory Booker once,” the former Today cohost, 62, said on The Wendy Williams Show on Wednesday, March 20. “We went to a Giants football game. Did we kiss? No, we did not.”

Couric explained that the date “was a long time ago” before calling Booker, 49, “an incredible person.”

No wonder she got fired! She was supposed to say “human being”. It was in all the briefs! If Cory wanted people to think he was a mere person instead of a human being, he wouldn’t be running for President.

You can watch Cory’s interview here. The Rosario discussion begins at 6:15.
