Open Post: Hosted By Chris Hemsworth’s New Quokka Friend

According to Wikipedia, a quokka is a “is a small macropod.” What the entry fails to mention is how adorable quokkas are! They’re so adorable nibbling on little bamboo shoots or whatever that they even take some of the spotlight off of Thor Odinson (aka thirst deity Chris Hemsworth)!

Here’s Chris on Rottnest Island in Australia introducing us to his new friend on Instagram (via People).

Spent 3 weeks crawling around the dirt, studying the Quokkas movements, mimicking their language and eventually gained their trust and was accepted as one of them, I now go by the name Quokkachris #rottnestislandwa @australia @rottnestislandwa

“I’m going to share that,” he says to the quokka in the video in his sexy voice. And then all of a sudden, the quokka was forgotten and I was imagining Thor saying that to me after taking a selfie of us on a beautiful beach in the setting sun on some island with a nicer name than “Rottnest” as he then gently lowers me to the blanket and has his Marvel Cinematic Universe way with me. Quokka who?
