Nicki Minaj Cancelled Her Dublin Show Due To Weather

Nicki Minaj is probably regretting calling her current tour “Nicki Wrld.” Not because she’s disappointed with opening act Juice Wrld (he might actually fill some seats in what is reportedly a sluggish-ticketed affair), but because the “Wrld” part isn’t working out for her venue-wise. Nicki was forced to cancel yet another show this week in Dublin, Ireland, making it the third tour date she’s nixed so far. This time, however, it wasn’t because someone forgot the extension cords. This show was cancelled because of precipitation. Rain is obviously a Cardi B fan.

Complex reports that tour promoter MCD Productions announced the cancellation of Nicki’s show at Dublin’s 3Arena via Twitter yesterday, blaming “adverse weather conditions.” It was storming so bad over the Irish Sea that the boats couldn’t deliver the trucks which were transporting all of Nicki’s lights, stage effects, ass-filler, etc. They also added that “Nicki Minaj apologizes for any inconvenience caused to fans due to these unforeseen circumstances.”

3arena also announced the cancellation, advising concert-goers to hold on to their tickets because the date will supposedly be rescheduled.

As mentioned, this is the third time Onika Tanya Maraj has pulled the plug on a tour date. Both her Bratislava, Slovakia and her Bordeaux, France shows were axed due to technical problems. Supposedly, neither venue had enough electricity available to power what must be an intense show. Can you imagine all the hydraulics necessary to lift all that ass AND ego? Transformers must have been EXPLODING all over both of those soundchecks.

Taking a cue from the French fans that Nicki irritated by cancelling after everybody was already in the damn arena, Irish fans also chanted the name of Nicki’s arch-enemy outside the arena to communicate their displeasure.

And it looks like Nicki’s Scottish fans might be outside calling for Cardi B soon, too.

Cardi B must be at home, bouncing little Kulture on her lap, and delightedly searching online for all the bad news accompanying the #NickiWRLD hashtag and then laughing whatever terrifying nail sculpture she’s sporting this week off.
