Amy Schumer And Lena Dunham Bonded Over Everyone Hating On Them

The comedy pairing of black people’s nightmares: Amy Schumer and Lena Dunham have let it be known that they are good friends. And how did they become such close buddies? Did they braid each other’s hair while listening to the new Taylor Swift album? Did they make potpourri together with organic-grown daffodils? Did they stumble upon each other at Whole Foods and get into a deep conversation about gluten allergies? No! It turns out they bonded over the fact that both of them are well-hated by the public. I mean… I guess we all have something in common with someone…

New York Times profile revealed Amy and Lena are besties. They became friends when they bonded over the “mutual hate” they’re on the receiving end of on social media. Amy gets shat for being out of touch sometimes, and Lena gets it from the people online for many, many reasons, including getting mad over Odell Beckham Jr. not wanting to fuck her. Well that was a bonding moment. Lena said this:

“It’s a pretty specific experience… Most people don’t know what it’s like to open social media in the morning and hear you are physically, socially and politically worthless.”

Lena also claims that Amy is better at handling the criticism because Lena is a sensitive flower:

“She’s titanium, and part of her skill is the ability to make it look easy.”

But Amy says it’s not always easy to handle getting harassed online for being a silly white girl who says dumb shit, and she actually got some kind words from Dave Chapelle which helped her:

“I was kind of retreating a bit in general after years of getting beaten down… [Dave] Chappelle was like: ‘There’s a lot of love out there for you, Amy. I don’t know why, but I heard it.'”

This is truly a combination made in Hell. Can’t wait for these two to make a buddy-comedy movie together about a “woke” chubby girl who finally convinces an ethnic sports player to have sex with her. It can be called: Get Out 2 – Not ALL White Women. The Kardashians can co-star.
