Wendy Williams Was Back At Work Today And Is Still Very Much Married

Wendy Williams finally got her ass back to work today. Wendy, sporting a new “short ‘n sassy” wig, finally made her return as the host of The Wendy Williams Show today after a 2-month break. In her opening remarks, Wendy let it be known that her absence was due to thyroid disease, and thyroid disease only. For those hoping she’d come out with singed eyebrows from pulling a Waiting To Exhale by walking away in slow motion after torching all of husband Kevin Hunter’s belongings in a car fire, it was probably pretty disappointing.

Make no mistake, Wendy Hunter is ride or die for her man. After thanking her doctors, recapping the side effects of her Graves disease and thyroid issues, discussing her work out routine (7-days a week, 2 hours a day, I’d rather die), and bragging that “mother has not gained a pound”, Wendy eventually got around to addressing the tea everybody came to the party for. Because believe me you (as Wendy likes to day), they weren’t there to hear her ramble incoherently about the failings of the American healthcare industry. According to People, she discussed rumors of her absence being due to her husband’s alleged love child/decades long affair, during her Hot Topics segment. Well, sort of. Ok, not really. But she did share a picture of her and Kevin from way back in the day.

“I want to shout-out to my husband. I’m still wearing my ring,” she said. “Believe me you, when you’ve been with somebody for 28 years, married for 25 years … we know each other. He’s my best friend, he’s my lover. … I know what you’ve been seeing .. but hunty, let me show you who I fell in love with and who he fell in love with.”

“I’m still very much in love with my husband and anyone who’s been married … you know.”

“Marriages have ebbs and flows, marriage isn’t easy. And don’t ask me about mine until you see this gone,” she added, gesturing to her wedding ring.  “And it ain’t going anywhere, not in this lifetime.”

Kevin is one lucky man! He just got a lifetime pass to do whatever the fuck he wants. Maybe he’ll take this as permission to go out and start a third family with regular substitute host Jerry O’Connell.
