Jennifer Esposito Explains The “HA” She Let Out About Bradley Cooper And Lady Gaga
Yesterday everyone was reminded of Jennifer Esposito and Bradley Cooper’s quick grits marriage from over a decade ago after she commented on a post by David Spade in reference to Bradley’s performance of Shallow with Lady Gaga at the Oscars. David said that they’re obviously fucking and Jennifer responded with HA. I guess that pissed some people off, and now Jennifer is answering back with an over 3 minute long response.
I’ll admit when I saw Jennifer’s comment I never thought she was coming for either one of them but I also knew that people would take that HA and head straight for the end zone for a touchdown. And Jennifer was just as confused that her comment had gotten so much attention.

People reports that Jennifer wasn’t feeling any of the hate that came her way from such a silly comment so in a post on Instagram, where she looked into the camera and let us know that she’s new to the internet, a place where people will take a two-letter response and make several blog posts about it (we’re guilty!):
“If you think I’m just gonna sit quietly and not answer you because it’ll just go away. This is why people don’t speak up on so many situations… because I had experience with someone, I’m never allowed to say anything.”
“I literally said, ‘Ha.’ It’s two letters and for that, you make character judgments. I feel bad for those people who are involved on the other side of the ‘Ha’ because it wasn’t at them, and I feel bad for you if you took your time to comment on such insanity today.”
Jennifer went on to explain that her book was not a juicy tell-all designed to entice readers about her horrible relationship with Bradley. In fact, she never mentions him at all. What she does mention, however, was how she really felt about people trying to make her book about Bradley.
“My book, which was a New York Times Best Seller, based on my journey with Celiac’s Disease, after I almost died — to [make] it about something so silly and demeaning and stupid of a relationship I had 11 years ago, f— you.”
This just goes to show that nothing good can come from Bradley and Gaga’s unholy union so hopefully now that the Oscars are over and she’s taken home the statue she and Bradley can take a very much needed vacation away from each other. Because just like Jennifer and the rest of the world I’m on the deep end and ready for this mess to finally cease and desist.
