Nicollette Sheridan Is No Longer Alexis Carrington 2.0 On “Dynasty” (But The Role May Be Recast)

Or Not My Alexis Carrington as us Dynasty purists will forever know that character as.

Toward the end of 2017, the American government once again let the people down and ignored a very important law when they didn’t step in and arrest The CW, the creators of the Dynasty reboot, and Nicollette Sheridan for their part in destroying historical landmark Alexis Carrington. The CW doing a clearance section Forever 21 reboot of Dynasty was one thing, but casting someone not named Dame Joan Collins as Alexis was another. Nicolette has played Not My Alexis since the middle of season 1 and was a regular in season 2. But The CW announced yesterday that her last episode will be in March, and even though the show will be back to terrorize us with season 3, she won’t be in it. No, Nicollette wasn’t sick of waking up with a severed shoulder pad in her bed as a threatening message from the only Alexis Carrington we recognize to stay off her role. Nicolette has to leave Atlanta, where Fauxnasty shoots, to return to L.A. to spend time with her very sick mother.

Deadline says that the role of Alexis AHyundai Carrington may be recast, and Nicollette mentions that it will be in her statement.

“Working on the Dynasty reboot and reprising the iconic role of Alexis has been thoroughly enjoyable, but the chance to spend precious time with my terminally ill mother is more important to me right now. I am profoundly grateful to Mark Pedowitz (The CW) and David Stapf (CBS) for graciously allowing me to return to Los Angeles to be with her, and I wish them and everyone associated with the show nothing but continued success. I am hopeful that my fans will embrace my successor with as much passion as they embraced me,”

Nicollette is the third regular cast member who is out of that bitch. Nathalie Kelly, who played Cristal Flores Carrington, left in season one, and James Mackay, who played Steven Carrington, is also gone. As for who will be the next Not My Alexis, knowing The CW, it’ll probably be someone like fucking Alyssa Milano, but they can right the wrong they made with God, this country, and the world by bringing back thee only Alexis Carrington:

Yeah, right. Whatever The CW brings in every year in revenue is still half of what Joan Collins should get paid to SAVE that mess! And not only that, but Dame Joan’s entire first episode would be filled with characters asking, “Why do you look 30 years younger, Alexis? And why are you suddenly a trillion times more glamorous? And how is that you suddenly can dress? And why do I have the sudden urge to slap myself thrice when I’m in your stunning presence?” Not even the soap opera replacement trick of “plastic surgery after a car crash” could answer those questions.

Meanwhile, Nicollette may have left scripted drama, but she’s getting into some Twitter drama with Lisa Rinna. Denise Richards is now on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and her new husband was married to Nicollette. Nicollette was also married to Lisa’s husband Harry Hamlin. And Lisa told a story about how Nicollette left Harry for Michael Bolton. Nicollette wasn’t having it:

Please don’t tell me this is all a stunt to introduce Nicollette as a new Housewife of Beverly Hills. That would mean Nicollette went from a Dollar Tree Dynasty knock-off to pretend fighting with a bunch of low-rent Dynasty impersonators. Oh, Nicollette, I mad at you for ruining Alexis Carrington, but you deserve better than that!
