An NYPD Commander Allegedly Wants His Officers To Shoot 50 Cent On Sight

Everyone knows that 50 Cent loves drama more than CBS at noontime. Actually, I believe if you check the cupboards in his McMansion you’d see that he dines on a daily dosage of drama, assholery and beef (because he stays in them). One beef he may want to avoid is with the NYPD because they have traditionally shown they are not for play. Case in point: Emmanuel Gonzalez, a commander in the NYPD’s 72nd precinct in Sunset Park, has allegedly instructed his officers to shoot 50 on sight stemming from a beef that began some time last year.

Last May, according to Page Six, Gonzalez was attempting to shakedown one of 50’s club owner friends Imran Jairam for some extra cash. Imran immediately slapped at Gonzalez with a quick “Not up in here!” when he decided to sue the NYPD because of Gonzalez’s unlawful practices. Once 50 (real name: Curtis Jackson) caught wind of the story, he took to Instagram and began referencing the incident and Gonzalez with the catchphrase “get the strap“, which basically meant it was time to use Gonzalez as target practice. Subsequently 50’s followers began using the same term, tagging Gonzalez as well. This lead to the NYPD investigating 50 for potentially threatening a police officer so he took the post down and went to church. Nah, he didn’t do that. He responded by trolling the police even further by taking a screen shot of the Page Six article and captioning it with, you guessed it, get the strap.

Entertainment Tonight reports that now, almost a year later, it has been discovered that Gonzalez was not the one when it came to his feelings towards 50’s post. Apparently in June, a month after he and 50’s beef started, Gonzalez found out that 50 was going to attend an NYPD sanctioned boxing match in The Bronx and told his officers that it would be totally fine if one of them shot him. 50 responded to that:

Gonzalez denies ever saying that. Uh huh.

But 50 isn’t just talking his shit on social media this time. He’s gotten his lawyers involved as well.

“Mr. Jackson takes this threat very seriously and is consulting with his legal counsel regarding his options going forward,” a rep for 50 Cent tells ET in a statement. “He is concerned that he was not previously advised of this threat by the NYPD and even more concerned that Gonzalez continues to carry a badge and a gun.”

This is probably 50’s greatest accomplishment because now he can remove “piss off an entire police force” from his Bucket List of Beef. But 50 will be back in his kitchen cooking up another beef with someone very soon. Perhaps Ja Rule? You know those two will be beefing until they’re both 100 years old.
