Lady Gaga And Her Fiancé Christian Carino May Have Split Up
Now that Cupid is done shooting everyone in the ass for another year, he must be on a very much needed vacation, or dead, because this news only proves that there’s no such thing as love anymore. Lady Gaga has been engaged to talent agent Christian Carino for the past four months, and now there’s a rumor saying that they’re done. Just in time for the Oscar voting deadline!
According to E! News, the couple may or may not have called their engagement off and the details surrounding this news are wackier than that Manon from The Craft possessed performance Gaga gave at the Grammys. Speaking of the Grammys, many noticed she wasn’t wearing her $400,000 engagement ring which led to speculation that their relationship was done. One source said that they broke up last week and Christian is “desperately” trying to get her back.
But a source close to Gaga slapped that theory down to the ground by stating she took the ring off for her performance and that the two of them were still on for their wedding this year after Gaga’s busy season comes to an end. Ok Source, then EXPLAIN why Gaga didn’t Thank Christian during her Grammy acceptance speech?? None of it makes any sense because they were seen together at both the Golden Globes and SAG Awards, but now Christian is nowhere to be found. Last week he posted a photo of Gaga to his Instagram page but one look at the comments section and it becomes clear that they may not be together anymore.
If they did indeed call it quits it would explain why Gaga allowed a blind monkey to draw a picture of a rose on her back. Oh wait, that’s not a sketch. That’s a tattoo. Billboard reports that yesterday, Gaga debuted two new tattoos on her Instagram, maybe as a way of dealing with her breakup? Who knows? But one thing’s for sure is I’m glad she got two, because one of them looks nice while the other looks like she needs to sue her tattoo artist for vandalism.
However, both of these tattoos mean something very special to her, and again, the Oscar voting deadline is coming up!
The first photo shows off the singer-songwriter’s back for a full view of her thorned rose, which accompanies a few other tattoos she already had near her shoulder. “Happy Valentine’s Day,” the Grammy winner captioned the post. “A tattoo toast to ‘la vie en rose’ by the beautiful @winterstone my spinal cord is now a rose.” The tattoo is likely a tribute to her performance of the famous Edith Piaf song as her character Ally in A Star Is Born.
Just a few minutes later, Gaga shared yet another photo of the latest addition to her body art. “G A G A…and when you get a tattoo and you’re me you always have to get two,” the “Shallow” singer wrote in the caption. “Also by @winterstone and also a matching tattoo w my bestie and manager @wanaynay.” Later Thursday, Gaga posted an updated version of the music-note tattoo that added the fifth staff line.
Gaga must be getting all tatted up in preparation for next Sunday’s Oscars, and she’ll probably wear something backless so she can place her new ink on display to piss off the prudes. At least, that’s what I’m hoping. And during her performance I hope she ditches “Shallow” altogether and she and co-star Bradley Cooper give us the duet we really want by confirming their dating rumors and singing the Motown classic “You’re All I Need To Get By“. Hell, that’s the real tribute we all deserve anyway.
